    Hello guys!

    I have been an avid AOE3 player for long, but after a break for a year or so, I want to start playing again. Before I quit a little over a year ago I was at Sergant level.

    My question is: has any of the strats and meta been changed since the release of the definitive edition? Any gameplay changes I should be aware of? How is rushing, FFing, semi-FFing, etc?

    Hope you guys will help me here! Big or small details, I'm just curious before I buy the DE.

    Which Civs would you like to see receive a full campaign?

    One of the greatest tragedies of AOE3 is the lack of proper campaigns. Sioux, Chinese, Japanese and Indians all have proper campaigns but that's it. This is unfortunate since AOE3 covers one of the most fascinating periods of history known to man with so many great stories that could've served as the basis of many full length campaigns.

    My dream campaigns:

    1. French: Defeating the British and Iroquois with border raids and clever tactics as the French, with legendary French heroes such as Frontenac and D'Iberville.
    2. Dutch: The legendary story of New Amsterdam - killing Swedes and British
    3. Portuguese: Adventures in the Indian ocean in the 16th century. Many Ottoman and Indian enemies.

    Would love to see an Iroquois campaign but it is hard to think of a decent period of action, adventure and victory where they weren't also the clear imperialistic aggressor. Same for the Spanish. Knowing the current devs, they wouldn't go for something like that.

    WASD or arrow keys?

    Hi Guys,

    I'm buying a new gaming laptop that would be able to run the new DE. I have two options, but my budget is limited, and the cheaper one has so tiny arrow keys that I'd need an external keyboard.

    So my question is, is it good to play with WASD as arrows, and do e.g. pro players play this way?

    Multiplayer connection issues

    Most games now i do 1 loading screen then get thrown onto another loading screen that looks like a campaign loading screen it loads and gets stuck at %50 meanwhile i can hear my allies typing it takes around 4 minuets before i join the game and can play and they seem to always be waiting for me

    my internet speeds fine at 200mbs down and 20 up so unsure what the issue is ? any suggestions
