    Can math nerds here validate/invalidate my Diplo gold generation scheme using Keshik?

    Keshik UU for Tatars generates gold while hitting enemy unit. My questions are:

    What if you let a player in a diplo/ffa situation convert a Keshik and then have 2 Keshiks attack each other while monks stand behind to heal?

    How many monks does it take to keep the Keshik alive?

    Does one Keshik constantly attacking generate more gold than a trade cart with caravan?

    Matchmaking queue stressing my GPU

    Does anyone else have this bug? When I start the game and get to the lobby, or when I finish a game, my GPU ramps up to 70% usage when the game is just sitting in the queue. It's really weird. Why on earth is it b eing worked harder when queuing than in game?

    RTX 2070.

    As soon as it matches with an opponent the load decreases. If the match fails/connection drops, it ramps up again. Are we searching for a coronavirus cure whilst queuing?!

    A noob build order (not active right now)

    Start with 3 villagers, 1 scout

    All Visible

    send scout to get sheep

    all 3 villagers build lumber camp

    get housed

    4-7 to wood

    7-20 to anywhere you want

    cheat to feudal

    Flanks are booming in 3v3s and I can't get out of 1200

    No matter how hard I try, when I'm in the centre position, one flank always thinks that:

    1. Age of Empires 2 is a farming simulator where all you can do is hoard resources

    2. Making an army earlier than Imperial Age is waste of resources, see point 1

    3. Being on flank means that you should only do palisades around your town and camp inside until Imperial Age

    4. Clicking on the flair button means that even the other flank should help him when he's in trouble

    5. Doing nothing and waiting for the other two teammates is always the best strategy

    6. Blaming the one in the centre and using swear words on the whole team is a good solution

    I don't say that when I'm flank I'm the best player in the whole universe, but at least I'm trying to be aggressive and defend alone when I'm in trouble. Some other guys I've met just can't do the simplest things and I can't get out of 1200 elo. What should I do instead of ranting on Reddit?

    Need a fast Castle into Knights (I WATCHED T90'S FAST CASTLE AND IT WAS SO UNCLEAR)

    Do you know of any build orders that are great for a fast castle into knights? I tried watching T90 Official's build order and it was so unclear on what to do, "watch and learn" tactics do not help me learn things. Is there one that you can state on paper?

    I'm really bad at this game but at least I know the basics of an early economy (I know basic build orders of the Dark Age, and know that earlier advance times = more aggressive and later advance times = more defensive)

    Or, do you know T90's build order?

    I'm starting to really hate this game because my economy doesn't get flexible for these kinds of rushes, and experimenting seems like it will take too long. (yes, I know all of the fundamentals of the Dark Age economy, like boar, farms, so don't lecture me on that).

    Please, I just want to improve because I'm at the brink of deleting this game!

    I think my rating right now is around 1300, but I want to get it up to 1600.

    Late game stress

    Hey. I have a stress anytime I see the game is going to imp. I am around 950 Elo and at this rank everybody booming and stone walling like crazy, and when I see the game is going to this direction I instantly want to resign. Pro players doesn't wall so I don't know the counter to it and I just losing it. trying siege but it doesn't work. They mass archers or some shit and I just give up. No strategy from there just complete chaos. I focus on scout rush to archers now trying to end the game soon and had a few good games with it but when I fail I don't know what to do. Any tips on imp game? Videos ? Thanks guys

    Mongols vs Aztecs ( AI ) Black Forest

    I think I need help. Over the course of a week, I have been playing against the moderate AI, Black forest 1 v 1 on a 4 player map. I am Mongol and the AI is Aztecs. Its already the 16th hour of the game and I have tried all combinations of units but have been unable to defeat the AI. I have upgraded all tech possible. I have tried : EM + Seige Onagers Massed EM + massed FU Champions EM + Hussars + Heavy Camels + FU RAMs Just a massed bunch of hussars being continuosly produced.

    The AI just responds with Elite EW +Monks + Seige and some elite skirmishers or only EEW to raid my base ( have had my TC and town destroyed twice already - I found a hidden pocket in the forest where I resestablished my base and now it is secure)

    All of the above have failed though I have been been able to destroy 4-5 of his TCs and 18 out of 19 of his castles. The last remaining 100 odd of his military units are proving difficult to destroy. What is the right combination of massed units to defeat the AI? There is a lot of open field between his base and mine and my units are basically traveling a long distance and we are having the battles in an open field as most of the trees have been cut down.

    Would be gratetful for any suggestions.

    AoE 2 DE mod servers down?

    In the "Browse Mods" tab in the game, it just says "loading mods..." forever.

    Same thing happening at https://www.ageofempires.com/mods. Just a spinning wheel that never goes away.

    Is it just me?

    Is there a way to get rid of the haze on aoe2:de?
