    Last time I checked it was unplayable, crashing or out of sync within a few minutes every game. Considering if I could buy it.

    As expected of Microsoft. Kill the old player population with a new broken version of the game. Same as Halo MCC. When the game stops making money they have to save on server maintenance costs. Such a pain when I have used 20 000 hours on these two games.

    Big battles lag for me, but I wouldn't think they should be any more resource intensive on the DE than the 2005 game.

    won ranked games giving 0 rating

    Last night I won two ranked games in a row which gave me 0 rating increase. Is it intended that after waiting for some time in queue you get such low players where you cant gain any rating? Did anyone else run into this issue?

    Some water maps are plain horrible. Is there any chance they can be updated into a reasonable map regarding geography, distribution, symmetry? Also some land maps needs re-balance.

    It's been always like this in the AOE franchise. I get a few people might enjoy them if they are new to the game or like enjoy pseudo-treaties with friends but I can't see how the average player likes those maps.

    • It's a shame notorious and (lore) rich regions like Amazon and Carib are represented so poorly unidimensional (we could have had a Black Forest map based on "inner Amazon"). Honshu, Indochina and Indonesia are also weird when they are pretty much a distortion of Borneo.

    • I also miss the California gold rush from AOE2. Why don't we have something alike? And we have quite a few land maps variations with marshes (that I don't see being popular) and others with weird hunting distribution. Texas is also a missed opportunity in terms of lore and area.

    Yeah and also for a franchise which was carried by the community.... I MISS CUSTOM MAPS!! DE officialized several maps and yet I feel the pool is just too small.

    This is so damn serious: Developers PLEASE support the mods instead of breaking them every single patch. You took away the community's power to support the game and people have been doing that for the last 12 years.
