what's the most evil thing you've done in this game? Posted: 08 Jun 2022 07:18 AM PDT For me it was hiding a pet coyote at a treasure guarded by coyotes at the end of a lost game 😳 [link] [comments]

Which "nation" cards do you use with the Maltese? Posted: 08 Jun 2022 10:31 AM PDT We have Germans (a few settler wagons) British (Longbows) Spanish (Lancers) Ports (Cassadores) Russians (Opri) French (Cuir) The AI used the Ports and Russians if I remember correctly. Even though that obviously won't happen in AgeI, I feel like the equivalent of 12 vills not reliant on the TC with the German card is quite neat? Maybe I'm wrong, don't know. Now, about the military units: Considering that we have royal guard crossbows with their own upgrades while all foreign units remain on their base strengh, I don't really see the point in Cassadores and especially Longbows? Maybe I'm missing something. Now, the cav units are more a thing of preference depending on what you want to do considering we already have hussars, I personally go for the Cuirassier. Though you could argue that the lack of general boosts is actually low key telling you not to use any of them (in the late game) all that much and just field Hospitallers+Culverines+Fire Throwers/Crossbows like there's no tomorrow. Has anyone else found since the new DLC update the graphics have been unstable? Posted: 08 Jun 2022 07:33 AM PDT I have a GTX 1070 graphics card and I have been noticing the game stability and my thermals have been going through the roof. Historically running the game on max graphics had my GPU running around 60-65 degrees, since the update it has been roaring and staying in the 76-84 degree range. Ps my card and system has the latest driver updates. Anyone notice this too? [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Jun 2022 09:42 AM PDT So i was playing a 1v1 ranked the other day and while aging to the second age i sent one of my settlers to herd in another herd of deer. A couple of min later when i checked back in with the settler i found him having shot down the entire heard because they all the deer got stuck under a native post and he couldnt access them. I would say i lost the game due to that as i essentially just had no nearby food source anymore. [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Jun 2022 03:35 PM PDT yep... its one of those again... What do you think is the buildorder/strat here? I had zero success rushing which is what I'd usually do. Any advice? [link] [comments]
Why is there still no age 3 culverin shipment? Posted: 08 Jun 2022 07:29 AM PDT After all this time, I really think that all the European civs could use an age 3 culverin shipment. Most civs can send either a 1 or 2 falconet, so why not add in a 1 or 2 culverin shipment when it directly counters the falc? Especially when the Japanese can send the 2 flaming arrows, which have more range and deal bonus damage to artillery. Currently, to counter a two falc push the best thing to do is to build an artillery foundry and train them yourself, which costs 300 hundred wood + 100w, 400g per culv. Just make it so you can send them from the HC [link] [comments] |
