| How to win 3v1 vs noobs no cards Posted: 30 Nov 2019 06:04 PM PST Every 6 months, me and 3 friends cram into an internet cafe to play our 6 monthly game of ffa aoe3 Every time, all 3 will team up on me (I always have the best score), and will wear me down to defeat Occasionally I'm able to lay massive blows to my enemies economies, but the other 2 will attack me before I can strike the killing blow, forcing me to stay back and defend while the guy I attacked rebuilds his eco. We never have cards in these games, and only play the original game (no expansions) This has gone on for 3 years straight, How do I win these? [link] [comments] |

| How to counter special civs' cavalry with Ottomans? (India, France) Posted: 30 Nov 2019 06:22 AM PST Probably my phrasing of ''special civs'' isnt the best but here's a problem Ive ran into. Playing against India late game, how do you counter a mostly Howdah spam with some Mahout spam and a tiny bit of siege elephants to kill buildings? The problem is that abus even tho they are strong, they dont have multipliers vs light cav and the high damage of Howdahs wreck them so they dont stay long. So then I tried countering with Cav Archers to tank some and Abus on the back and that worked a little, but they are not as strong as Howdahs, although they countered Mahouts. Playing against France, Otto's units did pretty much nothing to Cuirassier until I got overrun. Cav Archers certainly couldnt hold them. In both of these cases, Ive sent all upgrades to siege units and cavalry from HC, units maxed out and arsenal upgrades as well (plus special arsenal upgrades that you can unlock from HC). What are your thoughts? Any tips? Edit: First example was NR40 and second example is standard in late game. [link] [comments] |
| When playing team 3v3 4v4 classic. Posted: 30 Nov 2019 04:36 PM PST My rank is 18-20 in 1v1 but definitely not as good fighting in the 4th and 5th age. When I play team games with friends who are closer to the 10s I always hit age 3 with the most resources and have the biggest army but not a big enough army to 1v3 or 1v2 attacking some times I am able to defend against those numbers but then normally I am the last to 4. What should I do from this position? What should I have my friends do they play France, Russia and British I play most civs. [link] [comments] |
