    What are your new favorite last khans campaigns? Kotyan, Ivaylo, Tamerlane or Pachacuti?

    I havnt tried Pachacuti yet I will in a week or so once I've finished my army conscription

    But for me the new campaigns we're really well made

    Kotyan was one were you keep running from the mongol and tatar hordes until you ravage across hungary then you have a choice in the final mission

    Ivaylo was the most well made, starting with a peasant rebellion, then a king of the hill/wonder victory, then defending a castle from a mongol horde, to microing across the maps to a village to fight byzantines and defeat that bitch ivan asen, to being completely alone and fighting the lithuanians (the one and only instance where the liths appear in a campaign)

    Overall out of the three ive played this was the hardest one

    Tamerlane was way easiee but you start with large cavalry armies, start with a couple of large scale battles and has alot of diverse enemies to fight

    What are your guys thoughts?

    What is your biggest wishes will be fixed in the next version of AoE2:DE?

    Personally, I would love to see the pathfinding fixed so units don't stop constantly, and the end statistics showing right kills and deaths. And there is the audio glitch where attack sounds disappears after long sessions with the game up. Really throws me off. But there are more issues of course, but if those issues gets fixed, it will really improve the game.

    As for things I wish would be added, there are 2 things I would like to see. First one is a button to cancel all production of a building, and the other is stance for monks for when healing, so you can decide if you want the monk to stay right where it is, or follow the target a bit until it's healed.

    Countering Onagers?

    Played the AI last night on Arena and my units were getting absolutely destroyed by Onagers in front and behind his walls. I was Persians and was making mass crossbows and paladins. How should I have countered his mass Onagers? Besides being better at micro it seemed really hard to attack him while also avoiding his pointy boys.

    I guess the question is how do you kill a turtle that counters both of your production units? Lots of rams? I tried that but I had a hard time following it up.

    The most offensive possible civ bonuses

    • Civ can get food from wolves, enemy infantry.

    • Civ has access to all techs regardless of tree but only after another player researches it.

    • Civ has bonus attack against monasteries of a certain building style.

    • Civ has bonus attack against female units, units of a certain skin color.

    • Civ has extra Villager speed, carry, etc, but can only train male Villagers. It can also train sheep, however.

    Where are ranged units aiming within a target's hitbox?

    I know AoE has different-sized hitboxes, which is also to be taken into account when targeting a group with archers, or even a single unit with the mangonel line.

    However, where within the unit's hitbox are ranged units' shots aimed at if the target is right-clicked or targeted during an attack-move? I would guess the geometrical center, except if it is out of range, in which case the nearest point that's still within range.

    If that's the case, it is beneficial to wait a little before shooting when one has the chance to cut off moving units and shorten some distance. If they are always shooting at the closest point, it makes more sense to shoot immediately.

    I just watched some galley micro in a Viper match and that's what made me think.

    Hey guys:
    Weird question but I tried to play Malians Gbeto-Siege Tower Mastapizza on De on the map Arena, but everytime I connect on their walls and unload my 10 Gbetos the game closes. Is there a correlation? Is it a known bug or was this an accident?

    I'm playing team games at odd times, and often the que takes 10-15+ mins before I find a game, they should add loud noise that you can hear even if the game is alt-tabbed, and automatically switch to the game when the que pops.

    How to counter Mongols without Elite Skirms?

    I just got destroyed by Elite Mangudais as Turks. I just could not figure out how to counter them.

    Send rams against castles? Get destroyed.

    Skirms? Useless.

    Cavalry? Do not even get close.

    Any idea? The biggest mistake was probably allowing him to go Imp in the first place.

    Ideas for a campaign involving the Lithuanians, Britons, and Slavs

    Lithuanians-Boleslaw I- First King of Poland who was a brilliant statesman and military leader. His campaigns would focus on him reuniting Poland and then facing the Holy Roman Empire.

    Britons-War of the Roses-In the aftermath of the 100 years war, Britain would be in a civil war between the Houses York and Lancaster.

    Slavs-Sviatoslav- As one of the most important leaders of the Kievan Rus, Sviatoslavs campaign will include subjugating the Slavic tribes, favung the Bulgarian Empire and the Volgas.

    yet the land units are all European style? It doesn't make sense that Aztecs have European style infantry or that Ethiopian villagers are Caucasian.

    Not able to play online

    I've been enjoying AoE2:DE online with my friends since launch, we almost exclusively play in online private lobbies. But for the past week or so I've been unable to play online at all.

    I'm able to go into the multiplayer menus, however in the lobby browser it only says searching for games and none appear, although it does show the connections to the different regional servers and I can browse the mods fine. I also can't create a lobby, the option is permanetly greyed out with a loading indicator next to the lobby name, I can receive invites but not join any of my friends games. A reinstall hasn't resolved this issue even with all the local game files deleted. And whilst I can play multiplayer on my desktop computer, it just won't work on my laptop, which is the computer I play mostly as I'm away a lot. I've also tried it on various networks and still no luck.

    Has anyone else had a similar issue? Or does anyone have any potential fixes?

    How do you make garrisoned villagers return to a previous job without ringing the bell?

    I just saw a game with theviper where he quickly boxes his farmers and garrisons into his TC for a few shots on a scout and then immediately has them return to their farms. When I try that my vills go to my rally point
