12 Hour Suit Stream featuring Special Guests! Posted: 07 Jun 2020 08:12 PM PDT Hey everyone! As some of you might know, fortunately and thanks to a lot of great people, my stream has been growing tons and because of that, or rather thanks to that, I decided to set some goals to give you guys something in return for all the love and support you've been showing. So I went for two big goals. The first one being that at 2000 Subscribers I'd do a 12h stream wearing a suit and packed with events, since you guys voted for that idea. And the second goal being that at 3000 Subscribers I'd do a 24h stream. You might've heard about a goal of shaving my head at 5000 Subscribers but that's not a place we want to get to lmao. Being that said, I'm doing a special 12 hour stream this Thursday, June 11th. It is my 2000 Subscriber special and it will consist of me wearing a suit (no not a birthday suit lol) and streaming a full day of aoe content. I wanted the stream to be packed with events and not just my regular day to day routine. Thanks in advance to the special guests who agreed to join me on stream, its gna be a blast! Option to select a pool of favourite Civs Posted: 08 Jun 2020 03:41 AM PDT I would like to see this implemented into DE. Would be great if you could select a bunch of civs you like to play with (or if even customize this dependant on the map/game mode) which you could then random from. As it stands at the moment if I click random civ it will take into account the civs I've been playing but not that I might have been trying out a civ which I don't pacticularly wish to play again. How do I manage early aggression and still not messing up my castle time? Posted: 08 Jun 2020 03:36 AM PDT I have been playing a lot of 1v1 ranked lately and can't manage to go above 1100 Elo. I watch the replays of games I lost and try to learn from it. But I can't figure out one thing: How do I decide whether to go for Fast Castle or not (on open maps). Mostly, I try to go for feudal aggression (Scouts) and like to finish games in Castle Age. If my feudal aggression does not succeed (opponent is walled, running into spears and losing numbers), I am super late with going up (24+ min) and will face an opponent that is already in Castle and harrasses me with Crossbows or knights. My Eco is way behind then, running on 1 TC while my opponent has 3. I always lose games due to bad eco on Arabia, Kilimanjaro or Mountain Pass, but I manage to win 90% of games where FC is the play (e.g. Hill Fort). TLDR; How to be in Castle Age in a reasonable time while still pushing with Scouts, MAA or Archers? Or should I just not do it? submitted by /u/tlver [link] [comments]

Very noob question about units and combat Posted: 08 Jun 2020 07:08 AM PDT So, some units and unit types are stronger against certain units, i get that. However, when you have a big war with tons of different units from both sides, how can you make sure you get to exploit those weaknesses? My units can hardly walk where i want them to during a battle thanks to all the other units in the way. How can i point the specific units to fight against units they are strong against?
