    Best way to buy AOE III ?

    Hi guys, new to the community. I had AOE III when it first came out, played the campaign and vs AI. Recently I rediscovered it via the youtube channel Samurai Revolution.

    I wanted to play online vs other players, mainly via Asian Dynasties, since it has the most civs. I was wondering which is the best method to buy this game. On steam it's 30 (british) pounds, which is a bit pricey if I'm honest. Everyone says to wait for the steam sale, but when excatly is that and I'd much rather have it now. There are new copies of Asian Dynasties on ebay for about 15 pounds, but I'm curious as to whether they'd have the most updated graphics and bug fixes, since it's an old game (can you download the updates from somewhere).

    Also there are people selling steam keys, new steam accounts that come with the game being sold on ebay, this seems a little dodgy to me tbh. Is that a good method of purchasing the game?

    how good is India water boom? seems like it would be pretty good since their whole eco is based off wood already and they have the 2 wood trickle cards. they also have an age 1 shipment for a dock rickshaw and 30 percent cost reduction on fishing boats, but everywhere i look i cannot see anything in india water boom
