Wanting to learn to prep for AoE3 DE Posted: 05 Sep 2020 01:08 AM PDT New to the subreddit. I first played AoE3 when I was 9 and it was the first one from the series I played. About a week or so ago, I decided to get it on Steam to relive those moments. Then I discovered that there was much more to the game than the casual chilling in the game I did. I played the game, but I wish to learn how to really "play" the game, learning the terms and competitive playstyles. Idling TC? Posted: 04 Sep 2020 11:10 AM PDT Hey, so I play a lot of AOE2 and I enjoy breaking into AOE3. In AOE2, you basically don't idle your TC until you hit about half your pop in vils. In 3, it seems like people are more likely to idle so that they can age up and build military. Is that correct?
