Would you like "Shared Units Control" option to be in the game? Posted: 11 Dec 2020 07:09 AM PST Shared Unit Control is a option which exist in some RTS games. It is a option to voluntarily give option to specific teammate to control your units and vice versa. This can allow you to help each other out on units you are not watching or controlling. Option would be very useful if you play with higher skilled friend. He could sometimes correct your idle villagers, or redirect your army on time if you are busy with macro. These are some features Warcraft 3 has which could be implemented:

Does anyone else get weird lag/low FPS until you reload the game 2-3 times? For reference, I get about 240 FPS on ultra when it works but it goes down to 15-20 FPS when it's not working. Anyone else get this? [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 10 Dec 2020 08:58 AM PST There's not really any specific point to this post, other than to appreciate TheMax and his playing style. He seems to have a lot of fans in the game and there is never a boring game with him involved. I think I love how he is so adaptable for many different strategies - from booming in a 'standard' way to some more out there strats like tower rushing, sneaky vills, douching etc. Although he is know for his booming into paladins in team games, I really enjoy watching him play 1v1s and being very aggressive with m@a, towers and sneak vills. I would whats stopping him from being S tier player is slightly less good micro compared to e.g. Viper or Hera and occasionally questionable decision-making (i.e. taking some bad fights on occasions). I think other than that, he is a great player and my favourite to watch. I think the series I enjoyed watching most was 1) Max v Lyx bo5 and 2) Max v TaToH bo7 Nili Showmatch (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ujk-QYgtdC8&list=UUXeY7zz-1LsyZdnpFbffdqA&index=620). I would highly recommend watching the second one, in particular the Goths war on Regicide Fortress. What do you guys think? How would you describe his playing style and strengths/weaknesses? Posted: 10 Dec 2020 09:41 PM PST EDIT: I was dumb, turbo mode was on. Please carry on :/ I'm a casual HD player who have only played a single-player in HD normal (x1.0) speed. When I recently bought DE and started my first game, I was shocked how fast its normal (x1.7) games are, and how different the build orders become. My personal preference aside, I feel like I'm missing something. The build order that I've found in the past doesn't work with normal or even casual (x1.5) speed - villagers gather WAY too fast, and timing for luring boar and feudal age feels vastly different. This even goes the same for the tutorials from DE itself, where it lists 21 villagers for normal feudal age or 27 villagers for fast castle. If I were to stall until 21, even a medium AI reaches feudal before I can start. From what I've heard from the community, x1.0 is only reserved for casual single-players, and everyone on multiplayer plays on either x1.5 or x1.7. If that's the case, how do people even use these build orders? [link] [comments] | ||

[Mod Request] Select All Army button customization Posted: 10 Dec 2020 04:41 PM PST Two customizations I was hoping to see in the 'browse mods' section: 1) Remove the cap of 60 units in the 'all army' button. Why is it even there, I have no idea. Furthermore why isn't there an option in the menus to remove the cap is beyond me. 2) I'd love if I press 'all army' button, the game would never include any trebuchets(packed, no unpacked). Those units are so standalone in their purpose, is why. 3) When I doubleclick my control group, it centers the camera in the place where I have the most units of that control group. Right now, I'm guessing, it centers to the average position of all my units, which is like empty space sometimes. If some of these changable without mods and I'm just blind, please let me know.
