| What can I say except Thank You Posted: 10 Dec 2020 09:51 AM PST I don't know if the devs see this subreddit or not, but I just want to say thank you for listening. I used to play hours and hours on this game as a kid in the spanish version and every voice from the campaigns and units was imprinted on my mind. So imagine my disappointment when I played the Chayton campaign on DE. I literally had to change the language to english because the cutscenes where unwatchable. They reused the old spoken voice lines but changed everything, resulting in totally unrelated subtitles or scenes being cut before I could read all the text. So, I filled a bug report. An on this update they voiced not only the new Chayton campaign, but the Art of War missions too. So yes, this update is full of bugs, I can't see the time when the events reset, the incan warchief seems to be talking frome space... but they dubbed the campaigns (the new ones at least), something that, as far as I know, hasn't been done in AOE2 DE yet. | What Concepts would you like to see in new civs? Posted: 10 Dec 2020 09:41 AM PST Suppose new civs are developed. What concepts would you like to see? What I like about AOE3 is that unlike its predecessor, AOE2, civs actually play significantly different other than minor bonuses. With Sweden we saw the introduction of Torps which provide them with a massive midgame economy that eventually falls off late game. They also have access to leather cannons in age 2, which unlike other civs like Ottomans Abus guns, actually do AOE damage instead of just acting like Skirmishers. Their weakness is of course their lack of infantry diversity, making them lose horribly in certain matchups such as lakota. With inca, we saw the introduction of Kancha houses which have the potential to boom, but also as a civ that can rush. What are some fun ideas? [link] [comments] | ||

We advance to Age 4 and the moment i clicked trade monopoly they started spamming the chat that i enabled a bug or sth. So far so good, 5 minutes pass, the trade monopoly ends and: Out of Sync. Cool.
