    Apparently I was wrong. Multiple games tonight, I was losing, pretty roughly, and was going to throw the towel in after expending one last army, try to micro my way to a miracle, but then my opponent says "gg" - and then doesn't resign! Instead of a normal "105" or even a "wtf man resign already"...they think they can "gg" me to say "oh yeah I'm sorry, I didn't realize there was a resign button, thank you sooooo much"?

    Either ask them to resign, throw a 105 in the chat, or just shut the fuck up and enjoy destroying the other player. Because every time I get a premature gg you better believe they have to utterly and completely defeat me. I browse reddit and do other stuff to pass the time.

    Elder Scrolls fans, I recreated all of Tamriel in a playable map!

    I'm not sure if this is allowed here, but I really wanted to share something I've been working on. I recreated all of Tamriel (Skyrim, Cyrodill, Morrowind, etc.) in a playable 8 civ map!     Tatars , Berbers or magyans?

    Hey all,

    I've been playing for some time now. Can beat hard AI, but not harder. I know 1 build order by hard for my favorite faction mayans.

    But it's time for a change. I love cavalry archers. Now I've been looking, and a couple jump out. I mostly lean towards berbers or tatars.

    A couple of questions:

    1) in tier lists (hera, wolf) they put tatars in S-tiers and Berbers in B-tier. But when I look at aoestats the berbers have a much higher winrate than the tatars. Why is that?

    2) I'm leaning towards tatars as people say berbers are hard countered by halb/siege. I believe tatars have more options vs this comp?

    3) how hard is tatars to play? And how are they in late game? My games tend to go longer than average (imp).

    4) Should I consider other factions? I know theres mongols, but I find them awkward to play as they are only produced from castles (but so are berbers of course).

    As a singleplayer type of guy, I mostly play AOE2 for the campaigns and achievements. I've done them all on hard, now I'm doing a second run of the campaigns post-conquerors on moderate, to have a more relaxed approach because some of the hard ones can be really excruciating.

    I've been wondering what people consider the best and worst campaigns.
    So far I think the Cuman and Bulgarian campaigns are the best. I really like the diversity and storylines.

    The worst so far I guess is the Berbers. They are extremely tedious and while the campaign claims gunpower isnt available, which makes sense, it's strange they do involve stuff like firetowers who are a burden to destroy. Especially the last mission is infuriating and broken.

    What campaigns do you consider the best or the worst?

    What are good newbie armies to go for?

    Like what's a generic good army that can help you win most games? I see people spam archers with fire arrows and that's actually a massive pain when they micro it against my onigers, I like to main japanese btw idk how much that matters. Usually I try to go for a bunch of knights i heard they're pretty good units and can chase down targets tho they dont seem to be that good into mass archer.....

    Khmer Are Bad On Arena, Change My Mind

    Maybe bad is too harsh but they are average at best. They have an awesome 23+0 fc boom but ever since they lost bbcs they can't do anything late game against halb + mass onager or bbc, which all good arena civs can do quite easily. I used to rate them as the best arena civ but that one change destroyed their arena potential for me (for 1v1s at least).
