Incas no trush Posted: 18 Mar 2021 02:37 AM PDT Hi everyone, While playing random civ 1v1 I had a couple times Incas, and I realized how good they are. I don't like all the trushing sh*t, so I played more meta. Last game facing Ethiopians I opened MaA into archers (looks like the only play if you wanna be aggressive with them, except obviously for the trush, something that my map was dictating because of awkward gold positioning), better executed than my opponent, so I got more numbers and could offset his faster shooting archers. Then switch to eagles, pressure, in the end it went to imp, but it's incredibly easy to counter the switch to militia line with the slingers, which require very few upgrades. I was thinking that if I faced a cav civ then I've got Kamayuks, against archers EW like I did, against infantry slingers. It seems to me that there's very few vulnerabilities, maybe the fact that late game without gold you lack LC like other meso civs. Which are the cons of this civ that I should be aware of if I decide to play them a bit more? What comes to mind to me is the lack of a strong opening, when facing a superior archer civ the only thing I can rely on is a better execution of the build order, since the only thing I got is the extra sheep.
