For those unsure on how to do the challenges.

    Posted: 13 Apr 2021 01:38 PM PDT

    1. They are easily completed in Deathmatch
    2. They are easily completed in Easy difficulty
    3. You just have to fullfill the requirements and resign

For starters: for the first challenge you can just start the game as swedes and resign. for the second challenge you can just create the required number of units in a deathmatch and resign. for the third you can just build the docks and resign.

That was fun! Or not... What'd you think of your first game as USA? The cards are all pretty new and the aging system revamp gives even more options. They're easily my new number one civ.

I sent the card to make my TC auto produce vills as US, and I can't get them to stop lol, I'm at 105 and they keep popping out. Do they not have a limit?

    Worth getting now?

    Posted: 13 Apr 2021 08:43 AM PDT

I had this on my wishlist last year and when it came out there were a lot of issues. Have many of the issues been addressed?

I am mostly interested in campaign / games against the AI.

    Thanks

    Need help w/ 'murica!

    Posted: 13 Apr 2021 04:03 PM PDT

I just saw the trailer for Definitive Edition and came to know about America being added as a new civ and a challenge being set up for the same! I'm honestly quite excited and want to know the feedback of how good it is and if it's worth it or not considering there's always a big or two to ruin your experience..

Also I need help on strategies, tips & tricks on using them. I'm a returning player coming back after 2-3 months. I am a regular indian civ user who likes to play very defensively by setting up eco and defences and then going all out attack on opponents to win the game. Mentioned it just in case if I have to bring a change in my play-style..😅

    Many thanks in advance!😃

Can I buy USA and still do 50 state challenges?

    Posted: 13 Apr 2021 02:07 PM PDT

I don't want to wait 17 days to play USA but I want to do the 50 state challenge anyways, can I do both I assume?

How long until USA is playable???

    Posted: 13 Apr 2021 03:55 AM PDT

Can confirm - no cheats allowed to progress through challenges

    Posted: 13 Apr 2021 11:23 AM PDT

You could use them, but it won't let you progress through the 50 state challenge even if you win.

I am unsure about using extra resources to start with in skirmish though.

Trade Posts should be civ dependent, not map dependent

    Posted: 13 Apr 2021 03:28 AM PDT

This has been bugging me for years. We all know that when you build a Trade Post, that style depends on the map you're playing. On the New World maps, they're traditional log cabin looking things, like you'd expect from the European civs. On Asian maps, they're built in the Asian style with a swept roof.

But this doesn't make much sense to me. Why would the Aztecs build a European-style building? Why would the Ottomans build an Asian-style one? It should depend on the civ you're playing as, not the map. European civs should build European-looking Trade Posts, and Asian civs should build ones that suit their architecture. Likewise the native American civs should have their own style of Trade Post, and in future the African civs will have their own unique architecture too.
