Toxicity and Poor Losers Posted: 24 Apr 2021 10:32 PM PDT The community, at least in the game, feels like a toxic hellscape after the USA DLC. Many players I played against recently agreed. The influx of noobs isn't helping everyones stress, as most games seem to consist of everyone asking if (blank) is a noob or resigning at the slightest mistake, and the fact most people seem to hate all noobs with a burning passion. All the new players do some lame strategy that just annoys me, and all use the USA. All the old players are so annoyed at noobs, that if they see you do something wrong, they resign. I've dealt with players putting 100 uhls hidden around the map and walking away from the computer (adding 25 minutes to the game), some random guy shouting "HAHA YOU A NOB" As he did gatling gun/horse arty spam, and with some guy resigning because "Dutch is a noob civ" when I was on his team (as we started) . This was all just today. Any poor new player who is just getting into multiplayer will most likely quit with the amount of BS there is. Also can we please get the game ranger system of Beginner ,Noobs, Meds, And Pro lobbies going? TC swapping strategy vs AI Posted: 24 Apr 2021 09:58 PM PDT So, on really large maps, playing 1 v 4 against AI on Hardest, for the most distant enemy, I usually send in a massive formation to attack. And usually, there's a huge enemy formation which attacks my town at the same time, which is obviously almost completely unguarded. This makes my attack a one shot gamble. Basically I have to raze the enemy town while he's razing mine and then I need to attack his force and win. The only way I've found I can better my odds is to have all my villagers migrate with my army and replace his town with a new one built from scratch, and replenish any troops I lose in the assault. Is there another way of doing this? I've tried smaller piecemeal attacks and continuous raiding but it's just so labour intensive and I rarely have good results, the AI seems to recover very well. submitted by /u/hormazdigar [link] [comments]

Game Crashes Often Posted: 24 Apr 2021 12:18 PM PDT Does anyone else's game crash randomly or just too often? I love AOE3 and played so much of TAD back in the day. But with DE I can't really even play since I've had nothing but crashes that happen more often than not. ​ It doesn't matter the game mode. Skirmish with AI, causal multiplayer with friends, ranked multiplayer, or even the campaign. I still get random crashes multiple times while I try to play. Music and Sound? Posted: 25 Apr 2021 02:23 AM PDT Hey peepl, help an idiot in need pls. ​ So I installed the game and upon starting it, it informed me that something was missing from my computer so there might be sound issues. What do people think/how do you play. Posted: 24 Apr 2021 03:04 PM PDT So in team matches (everything but 1v1) I consistently have people complaining when I go and help out my teammates. Second I provided any support to my team, the other team starts complaining we are 2v1ing. If I'm using half my units to help my team then my own base is at a sever disadvantage in trying to repel you. Am I going against unspoken rules? Is it poor form to fight anyone but your match up? second art of war mission (treasures) - crazy hard gold now? Is the De achievement “We Need More Wood!” still bugged on Steam? I tried building all 15 Wonders in the Exploration Age as recommended by comments on True Achievements, but that didn't work.
