    For those not aware, Runestones was created for RBW4 and is essentially identical to old Arabia. So there'll be both new and old Arabia in the next 1v1 map rotation for sure.

    Here 1300 elo player 1v1, 2k2 TG

    I'm usually playing with my friends (at the same level) some teamgames 4v4 at this very medium (low?) level, we have a minimum knowledge of this game, basic build orders and tactics, and we enjoy it a lot.

    These lasts weeks/month we encountered a lot of smurf ( >70% winrate) playing with some 2600 elo TG player, this happen a lot, like 30% of the games, which is HUGE

    Exemple : My 4 friends at 2200 elo VS 1500 + 2600 + 2300 + 2200, these games are NOmatch, we get wrecked every single times

    We were wondering why microsoft let people do this, first answer we thought were : They just buy a new copy of the game, this is free money for microsoft

    So bascially people can create infinite smurfs without buying a new copy ... and people are abusing it

    This guy is unranked, probably around 1200-1500 elo TG and 80% winrate, he is playing with some 3kelo + 2 2300, and facing people at 2200-2300

    So the ladder at our level is a complete joke, we want to play people at our level to have fun with balanced teams, but 1 game out of 3 is a complete nomatch with no fun, what a waste of time.

    What can microsoft / steam can do about this ? I don't know, i don't have a solution of this complex issue.

    Would like to know your opinion about this.

    Multiple AIs attacking one player

    Hello Guys,

    I need some help. Normally I play this game together with a weaker friend against two extreme ais. Our strategy so far was that I will beat one ai and then help him. We will then defeat the second ai wich is at that point stronger than me because of all the resources I invested into killing the first ai.

    After the last update the second ai helps the first one almost every game. I often cannot handle both armies at once fast enough to help my friend. After a while I can defend the first ai with support from the seccond but we then get crushed by the second ai.

    Sometimes my friend is able to attack the second ai which does not have much units at home because all are attaching me. But that happens very rarely because my friend is unable to build up skirmishers (only unit that works for him with early aggression) fast enough.

    Do you guys have any ideas to solve this problem? Maybe any strategies to get rid of one. Please note you cannot expect my friend to change his strategy.

    The current gameplay is like this: I attack ai1 and can almost defeat it

    Most of the time ai2 will then help ai1 and they will delay me alot

    Sometimes ai2 will attack me which is the better version as Im still able to take out one ai

    I will then push back ai2 and again almost beat ai1

    My friend helps me against ai1 in hope of defeating him fast enough

    Ai2 will save him again

    Ai2 will crush both of us with small help from ai1

    Very frustrating

    Hard VS Moderate AI

    So I crush the AI on moderate.. like less than 40 mins. When I set it to hard it feels like a crazy jump and I can only manage to last about an hour.

    I have tried raiding with scouts and playing defensive walling/building my self in. Nothing seems to work. The AI economy always dwarfs mine. Seems like I have a solid build order, I just can't figure this out on my own.

    I'd like to keep playing but at this point it's between being bored or getting slaughtered.

    Are there a lot of shitty players such as myself that can compete with each other online or is it all random matchmaking?

    Will there be a TG Elo reset at some point?

    The TG elo system was fixed because of the inflation it used to cause but now many accounts are totally out of rank and correcting elo is difficult if you've played many games. At 1800 I regularly play against teams including people with 1300 1v1 Elo and other teams of 800 1v1 Elo players. I'm at 1100 so I either get mauled or I win easily. The old broken system left many people out of place. Is a big reset required to put people back in their rank?

    Image if walls/buildings only had 1 HP for the first 3 seconds of construction, which means they could be destroyed instantly.

    How would this affect the game? Would this cause balance issues?

    10 trebs are enough to destroy the regenerating gate:) and onagers wipe out the present cavalry. (you can also block their spawn by placing palisades/buildings at the edge)

    Eagle Scouts too strong in dark age

    Low-Mid elo (~1400):

    Early Eagle Scout harass in dark age is too strong imo. Besides their better sight, their damage is too high. If they attack one of your vils at your woodline (most times quite early, when only 1-3 are there) they often got already 2 hits in while you are reacting to the sound signal. With the exception of pro quickwalling there is no way to save your villager anymore. The economical damage is quite huge and the snowballing potential of your oponent quite high.

    Scouts have less damage and by far a lesser potential to kill villagers in dark age. They are balanced in that regard. Eagle Scouts are not.
