| Posted: 15 Sep 2019 04:55 PM PDT Hey all, Oracle, Poips and I are delighted to announce a Best Of 21 showmatch that has been in the works for about a month now. The inspiration for the event came primarily from the feedback on the Mangrove Shallows Cup. Many viewers were disappointed by the fact that it was invite only, and some players even voiced how discouraged they were since they weren't even getting a chance at competing in these top level tournaments. While MSC was a great tournament that produced several intense series, not everyone had a chance to participate due to it being top 16 invite only. In light of this, we decided to host a highly competitive event with a variety of tournament maps to get some of these players involved. We selected players that either didn't make the cut for the MSC or those who have performed very well in team game events this past year, but haven't yet showed off their 1v1 potential. In addition, each team has a captain (A & 1) who will be responsible for the civ draft. Since MSC was the template for our showmatch, we wanted to have the captains be 2 players that made it to the elimination rounds of that tourney. DATE: TEAMS: CIV DRAFT: Each team globally picks 10 civs. Each team can pick each of these 10 civs twice, but no player can play the same civ twice. The civ draft order is ABBAABBAABBAABBAABBA. Just out of curiosity which aoe2 ranking should be fine for people with this score? | Posted: 15 Sep 2019 02:50 PM PDT I just wanted to point out that the "Live AoE2 Streams" section in the sidebar doesn't seem to be working, it has been displaying "No streams are currently live" even though I've seen in twitch several AoE2 streams that used to show up there (for example, earlier today T90 and Tatoh were streaming, and none of them showed up. Right now Memb is streaming, but it isn't shown either.). So I wanted to see if the moderators are aware of this or something. Thanks in advance. [link] [comments] | ||

| Custom Train Button Location in Definitive Edition Posted: 15 Sep 2019 01:45 PM PDT I dunno if this was bought up or not but I think having custom training button might help a lot. Especially for Docks. We all know that we can have custom hotkeys for Techs now. I was wondering a player wants to move techs and other stuffs to the specific train button location of a production building the way they want to like I want all Dock units on first page and Techs on second page. But there will be a factory option to keep it the same way it was. I think this could be a nice option to add. [link] [comments] | ||

I have noticed they are both ranked pretty low and I was wondering why. Is it because they both have a weak early and mid? Or is it something else. The Koreans are my favourite. | Posted: 15 Sep 2019 11:21 AM PDT I personally only play nomad, migration(if possible in the new lobby), and other fun maps. I really do not like Arabia, BF, Arena, and etc. Its too meta based, "Drushing, Trushing, Knight Rush, and fast castling". I like nomad because I have to deal with the situation and it rely on problem solving skills, and skills that are learned such as microing and macroing. In general its a wonderful chaotic mess. | Posted: 15 Sep 2019 04:06 PM PDT Hey friends, are their any mods on steam where you play a typical black forest map except you cant cut trees? I know I know... blah blah its part of the game blah blah blaaaah the chokes suck blablablablah im a big noob. i understand. I have been playing this game since 2002, and i PREFER big late game post imp fights and having to fight in the multiple given channels. I do not prefer cutting around the edge of the map and putting 40 cav archers in front of the enemy's market. Preference. No matter what, i never cut. If i chose to cut, all i would do is pick the franks, bust out 40 cavalier as soon as possible, cut straight through the middle, and win every. single. game. Again, not what i prefer. With all that being said, can someone just name me a couple steam mods without complaining in the comments section? If you complain below, i may have to 1v1 your mom, mow down her black forest, and pillage her corn fields. [link] [comments] |
