| Are there AI that do not only Archer Rush? Posted: 13 Oct 2019 07:38 AM PDT Maybe it is just me, but I have noticed that the HD edition AI uses essentially the same strategy for every civilization. A feudal age attack with archers and skirmishers, into crossbow, elite skirm, rams and other trash in the castle age. Aztecs? Archers and skirms into rams. Franks? Archers and skirms into rams. Obviously the armies begin to vary more in the late castle age, but the utterly predictable start makes the computer less interesting. Is there an Ai that will occasionally scout rush, Fast castle knights, or other strategies? [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 13 Oct 2019 12:32 AM PDT So I've fallen in love with what is arguably one of the worst civs, the Portuguese. I love the accurate Hand Gunners, Bombard Cannons, & Bombard Towers. The Organ Guns are interesting even if they are worse than Scorpions. Even the Naval Techs/Ship are neat (even if the Caravel ifeels like it is SUPER niche), and the Feitorias unlimited resources. So the Question: What can I do to maximize my lethality? Some Notes: (1) Normally I play vs AI or as part of a Team games. (2) I am practicing Archer Rushes and Fast Castles. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 12 Oct 2019 10:57 PM PDT It's bothering the hell out of me, but I've been trying to find the cutscene music or audio all over the place and seemingly it's nowhere to be found. I find that hard to believe for as long as the game has been out - maybe I've been looking in the wrong places? I've been looking since I was a kid and only recently remembered it when I decided to nostalgia play the campaigns again. Specifically, I'm trying to find the Spanish El Cid campaign and Aztec campaign music in the intros, but again nowhere to be found. Can anyone help me out here? [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 12 Oct 2019 09:19 PM PDT I know the answer is out there somewhere but does the Persian team bonus of Knights +2 attack vs archers also apply to cavalry archers & their unique unit counterparts (Elephant Archers, War Wagon, etc?) and skirmishers or is it solely foot archers?
