- Why don't the developers make ESOC patch an official one?
| Posted: 24 Dec 2019 10:51 PM PST Hello I just started playing aoe3 again and after playing some bot matches I was planning to play online. I just downloaded game ranger but everytime I want to play with someone it says error mismatch. One person told me it was because no1 uses complete edition on game ranger. Is this true? Does anyone know how to work around this? My friend ESO doenst work and he has the original only. I have never played aoe3 online so im lacking the knowledge about this. [link] [comments] |

| Why don't the developers make ESOC patch an official one? Posted: 24 Dec 2019 03:36 AM PST https://twitter.com/AgeOfEmpires/status/1207782672652808193 I saw them promote the ESOC competition on the official Twitter. Isn't this an evidence that they recognized ESOC patch as mainstream? But why are they splitting the community apart by maintaining the old official patch? I mean, I remember that when Japan and India were very strong a long time ago, a fan-made patch that weakened the two nations existed for a while. And an official patch created after that was almost identical to the previous fan-made patch. Can we expect the same thing to happen again this time? [link] [comments] |
