| I'm having trouble downloading AOE3 onto my new PC from a disk Posted: 09 Dec 2019 05:37 PM PST Title says it all, I've been playing on an old-ass laptop, and wanted to download it onto my PC. I got an external disk drive, opened the disk file, clicked autorun and... it tries to download the file before getting an error message saying "Age of Empires 3 isn't downloaded" which then exits me out of the application. | Rushed by the Russians (or I guess Rush-ians), need help Posted: 09 Dec 2019 07:34 AM PST Hey everyone. I was playing as the Brits online against a Russian player. Things were fine until just before age 2, when I scouted him building a blockhouse and stable near me. I managed to put down a stable just before his 5 cossack shipment popped. At this point, I was faced with a dilemma. What do I do at this point as Brits? In the game, I shipped my 700w, 600w shipment and tried to boom vils, while making huss to harass his economy in turn, letting my TC take down his army. But it just keeps building! I used militia, then shipped colonial militia to beat him back. I could hold him off for a while, but he keeps coming back. Eventually he had an army of musks, streltsy and cossacks my huss couldn't deal with. After being starved of food sources I couldn't make any more huss and my TC went down, at which I resigned. I was thinking I could have raided better with Huss. How would you guys hold back that push? [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 09 Dec 2019 11:55 AM PST I just want to make some quick questions. I started playing them and seem to be very fun, but I struggle with some things related to cards and wonders, mainly. I'm talking specifically about classic mode. 1) Should I put Confucius Gift on my deck? 2) Old Han or territorial? 3) Are Steppe Riders worth it? 4) Which wonders do you build and in what order? 5) Which alliance in consulate? These are the main questions, but I'm sure I will come up with new ones as I'm progressing with this civ. Thanks for the help! [link] [comments] |
