    Which campaigns/missions are missing in the Definitive Edition?

    After going through the whole DE campaign, I felt like there was something big missing, and realized that one of my favorite campaigns - El Dorado, the story of Francisco de Orellana - was missing from the HD campaigns, replaced by Pachacuti (which was a nice one aswell tbh but radically different - I miss the RPG-ish elements of the original campaign).

    Is there any other single player content that went missing between HD and DE?

    I've been playing with the Lithuanians recently, an interesting civ with lots of options and a great early game bonus. Their unique unit has a curious mechanic, and unlike the Keshik I think the gimmick has some uses.

    Just wondered a few things about the ignoring armour attack.

    1. How does the Leitis fair up against the Knight lines and Camel lines in small or larger battles? Any information on cost effectiveness or just winning fights would be helpful.
    2. Do blacksmith upgrades also contribute to ignoring armour effect? 2.1. Do they benefit from the relic attack bonus and if they do does it also ignore armour?
    3. When would Lithuanians ever consider using them instead of straight knights or do they serve another purpose to compliment other options that the Lithuanians have?

    How do you command units to move at their native speeds?

    I (think I) remember from AoC that you could hold down a hotkey while commanding units to move to make them move at their own native speeds, rather than the slowest speed amongst their group. For example: You've got a group selected made up of Knights, Infantry, and Monks. If you tell them to move somewhere all together, they'll all move at the speed of the Monks. What I'm curious about is a hotkey or clicking of the mouse to make the Knights move at their top speed, the Infantry move at their top speed, and the Monks move as normal at their slow speed.

    [I'm not asking about the Monks or Infantry moving as fast as the Knights]

    You cant even check the leaderboards while queing or see your opponents MMR postgame. It is the aspect of the game I would wish for an update the most.

    Adding mercenary units

    What do you guys think of a mod that lets people buy mercenary units from the market. Also maybe buying pirate units from docks/another place? I was thinking of building it but I wanted to know if people would be into it.

    Is there an Aoe2 De api

    Is there a api we can use to get stats for the game? I know that aoe2.net does this and is wonder how it's done?

    I suspect that this site have been accessing the games internal API and built the site around that. As this feels shady and kinda borders on what we are allowed to do I where wondering if there is a better way to fetch the data? Is there a open api that I'm allowed to use?

    How is Tsar of the Bulgars (Hard) in the Ivalyo Campaign even possible?

    i've been trying to beat it over and over again for weeks, and i swear it hasn't been properly playtested. mind you i'm doing it on hard. it just seems almost impossible, you are being SWARMED by mongol and tartar horsemen every 5 seconds, with not enough resources coming in to successfully fight them back. all i can do is build a tonne of castles in my base as that's the only way i can seemingly survive for a while but there's almost no possibility of going offensive, especially because of the resource restrictions in the scenario and the insane kiting micro AI that is just way too good for even a decent player. to top it off, you only get 3 villagers, you cant build an econ and repairing anything is super dangerous because you're constantly being swarmed by the unrelenting AI meaning your villies can die and they're not replaceable. unless you're the viper, this scenario seems nigh unbeatable as it is on hard. i think they really need to scale back the difficulty on this in a patch somehow, it wasn't designed right.

    How to set construction site outlines to be visible behind objects? (Definite Edition)

    I've been trying to, but I cannot find out how to make unfinished building outlines (such as walls) to be visible behind trees or other buildings. I cannot find an option to this in any of the settings pages. If you know how to do it, please help.

    How to set up lan without having to be online? (DE)

    Title, im trying to play with my brother on the holidays, but even when we set local lan server creating the lobby we get the disconnect bug where one of us Just suddenly drop out of the game (insta resign too) with no way to come back.

    I just wanna play on lan, how we didnt need internet on the old aoc game and now we do

    256x lag

    Im sorry im new and dumb. with the 256x mod, the game lags every time i click on a building with tech. i cant find a fix for it. i have AoE: DE. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it. I run other mods just fine as well. Anyone can help what do i do?

    Should I buy AoE2 Definitive Edition or stick with the HD Edition?

    I heard there were some changes in the old campaign scenarios in the DE, could anyone give some more infos about these changes, are we talking extra quests and objectives within missions or just some more eye candy and other cosmectic additions ?
