Wars of Liberty mod - Haitians are BROKEN! Posted: 04 Jan 2020 10:22 PM PST Not broken in a "hey, this is overpowered!" way, but broken in a "this breaks the game" way. I'm talking about their stupid fucking Sevite settlers. I burned all their buildings and killed all these settlers, except they have the explorer passive, which means they never actually FUCKING DIE! They lay there, then get up after a time, even if I station soldiers right on top of them. I have 50 of these fucking Settlers laying in a field and periodically getting up, with my army killing them again every time. And the stupid AI won't fucking surrender! they won't FUCKING die, and the AI won't FUCKING surrender. The only way for me to get out of this game is to now resign, because of this utterly broken mechanic, even though I won the game. How the fuck am I supposed to deal with these undead, zombie settlers? So stupid. Edit- looks like this is a bug with the Egyptians as well, and possibly many more WoL civs. They just don't surrender. There's one dead explorer for enemy Egypt in my current game - their only unit or building across the map - and they still won't surrender, forcing me to resign. This is a massive bug that needs to be fixed ASAP. It makes the game unplayable. [link] [comments] |

I checked and saw that they were using ESOC maps which I thoughts only available to EP, is this possible? Do I just launch official patch and play so that there are more rooms for me to join? Wats of Liberty - slaves and pioneers Posted: 04 Jan 2020 09:03 PM PST So I played with WoL for the first time yesterday, with America, and it got me thinking that there's really no benefit to training slaves. I mean, yeah, they cost gold instead of food, but it's the same amount of resources, just in gold - and the Dutch already have this. Considering the time period, why not make slaves a little more appealing? I would say, if you are playing Confederacy, make them cost something like 60 gold, and if you go Union; change them to "Freed slave" (or something like that), and make them be full price, but count for only 2/3rds of a regular settler.
