    Units Grouping strategy needs to be fixed

    Units forming a square array and move together is really cool; But sometimes this scheme is annoying.

    I often into two cases:
    1. I have two small groups of soldiers, I selected all of them and command them to hit the ememy builders, the group closer to those builders tend to slow down or sometimes even go back a little to wait for the other group so that They can form a single array.

    1. I selected a bunch of my builders or what units and let them run away from enemy's troop, again the one further from those troops wait for the others to form the square array, this often make the ones having the chance to escape die with the others.

    I really like the idea of soldiers standing in arrays and fight, this makes the battle much real. But it makes the operation much much harder too.
    In order to avoid the problems listed above, I have to carefully group units, letting the faster ones and slower ones differently grouped, and letting soldiers near but not close enough so that the system may not forcing them to wait each other to form into one array group seperately.
    So, often, I really hope the grouping can be an optional command so that I can choose to let them group into one array only when a wanted.

    Please fix Esco patch Spain!!!

    Sigh.... we've been thru this over and over again... with new game coming out soon I can understand if esco patch developers are just taking it ez and enjoying the great work they've already done and many are enjoying!! But just in case these dev aren't calling it quits on making the game balanced here is how I'd suggest to tweak Spanish civ without making it OP nor deviating from its playstyle.

    The Rod.... this lackluster unit is iconic to Spain but is extremely niche in its functionality and pound for pound compared to its counterparts ranks average. I believe a few things can empower this unit.

    1. Start the base hp 20% higher (from 135 to 162) and revert its base hand attack back to 10. This will still make its 1v1 matchup vs hussar a 1 hit hussar favor and keep that ep efficiency. However the Hp routine gives the unit more defense against shooters. IMO light calvary should NOT counter rod without lots of funny business (pro like micro should be only exceptions).

      1. Since Spain has no shooter shipments ( but 1 heavy merc in age 3...meh) nor shooter upgrades shipments ( advance arsenal everyone gets this) I believe Spain should have all their hand attack upgrades go up by 5%!
      2. Finally take the age 3 lancer +1 inf bonus card and put it in age 4...but!!! Make it give hand units (rod pike and lancer NOT huss) a plus 1 bonus in their respect bonus categories.

    Spain would continue to lack mid to late eco, continue to be shipment dependent, and still lack shooters shipment/upgrades (this is a shooter game with exceptions given to extremely powerful/efficient hand units).

    These changes would make light calvary counters less viable since rod pike would do serious damage once snared and Lancers would better utilized since heavy inf and light inf combos would be encouraged vs Spain.

    P.s. Not the exact buffs listed but this use to be the power of Spain until RE nerfed it to shit....

    Iroquois (NON-TREATY) team games that stretch to 40-50min see me lagging behind in eco and score by a large margin compared to other civs. I love this civ and want to make it work late game as well.

    I'd really appreciate feedback on the same, and how viable it can actually be.

    P.S. I'm fully aware how good this civ is upto fortress age, but I'm usually paired with teams that want to sit back and boom and fight post fortress age. Thereafter is where I struggle to keep up.

    So recently i started playing aoe3... i used to play aoe 2 in past... but never jumped on aoe3...one of my cousin hooked me up it... and we have been clashing alot ... he uses dutch ... and due to increased coins due to extra banks and factory on foods.... he always have higher amount of resources than me.... and also he uses imperial carabiner and hussar.... any suggestions for how to defeat him?.... I am using French... and i quite cant manage to defeat him..... he just keeps bombarding the troops on and on .... as he has bank to support him for coins and factory for food.... that enables him to decrease the villies population and replace them with cavalry troops....

    Are you supposed to have a 'RM2' file if you have downloaded the Warchiefs Expansion?

    I also have Asian Dynasties, and the maps of it are stored in 'RM3'. The original maps are stores in a file called 'RM', but I think that the file RM2 is missing. Is it supposed to be like this or not? And will this be a problem for downloading custom maps?
