| Posted: 04 Aug 2020 07:35 AM PDT I constantly play with Japan. I think its overall good civ. Both in early (rush) and late (treaty) game. This is the main reason I choose Japan. But sometimes I lose early game to Russia or Iroquois to pro (kinda) players. They rush earlier than me. Everytime I play I start with only gathering food with 13 vils in 1st age. During that time I grab heavenly Kami shipment to fast food gathering for my musks. Then ageing with 1 vill building Large shrine (I forgot the name). Then I send all my new vills to coin. They become 6 or 7 in numbers. So basically, 12 Or 11 Vils on food, 6 or 7 vils on coin. Then 600 wood as my second shipment in whole game. At this point my wood is kind of zero because I spend all of them to building shrines (2 or 3 max). While gathering wood I build immediately military building and start massing musks. But it takes time to grow large in numbers. 5 immediately but then the queque but at this point other pro player rushes and wreckes my everything. I win by this way most of the time if my team is good. But lose when opponents are strong (or In 1v1). I wrote too many details here but Iam asking to pro players who play as japan. How to maximize my early game and defeat the earliest rushes? Or japan is bad for this type of game? [link] [comments] |
