| Posted: 13 Sep 2020 10:50 PM PDT Hello folks. I'm having this issue with the FPS that they drop from 60 to 40-30 even when there are not too much units on the screen or the game. I have a decent PC to run the game but I have not found a solution for this, I tried changing the res, running in compatibility mode and nothing. I'll really appreciate if anyone can help me with this issue. BTW I'm playing in a laptop Asus ROG GL552VW. My specs: [link] [comments] | ||

Have they updated the mod tools and removed the hardcaps of unit and civilization counts? Has it been touched up or drastically changed? I've held back on modding the game because of the engine's limitations. I'm hoping that with the Definitive Edition, that can change and I have more room to explore the engine for new ideas. | What is multiplayer like these days? Posted: 13 Sep 2020 09:03 AM PDT I was big into AoE3 multiplayer around 2010 but haven't played since then. I recently got AoE3 on Steam and got back into it with singleplayer. I recall there being a lot of interesting multiplayer scenarios, including one with a sort of arena and you had a single guy outside it select what sort of units you wanted to spawn. I have played AoE II on Voobly a lot and it's such a good platform, actually the best platform tbh. I once tried to play on Gameranger and I was frustrated. But I saw a lot of players playing AoE III on it, while the no.s are way low on Voobly? And I'm still confused why? Why? [link] [comments] |
