| Posted: 14 Oct 2020 01:01 PM PDT One of the main appeals of Age II: DE is the fact that you can run that fantastic remaster with a potato pc, but this is not true regarding Age III - I was in the beta and, although my notebook hands Age II:DE pretty well, the performance in Age III was abysmal, even with every little thing set to low, I could not manage to play it. That said, couldn't we get a classic graphics option (as there is in Age of Empires I:DE, for example), so that people without high-end machines can enjoy the improvements of Definitive Edition? | Haven't played in +10 years, what videos to get me back on track? Posted: 14 Oct 2020 08:17 AM PDT Hi folks, Big AoE2 player here since 2000... I played a good amount of AoE3 back in the days as well but I haven't touched it in +10 years! Really hype for tomorrow's launch, but I really need to watch videos to get me back in the game. Do you have any suggestions for me? I'm looking for: strategies, counters (civs), units descriptions, build orders, etc. Also I need to say I've only been "serious" on RTS in the last 2-3 years as I picked up Starcraft 2 (currently diamond). I also played a whole lot of AoE2 DE so I'm looking to play AoE3 to a competitive level as well. My 2005 AoE3 knowledge isn't really helpful as I was a casual back then. Thanks and see you online!
