    I've been working on an extended aoe3 ai based on Draugur and SKYTEAM efforts for the last couple of years, and with de coming up I think its a good a time as any to release it to the wider public. having played the de ai, I can say that atleast it doesn't lose out to it, if not better in some aspects. so if you want a challenge from an ai on the original asian dynasties expansion, this ai is for you.

    it will still lose out to walls and pillars, fundamental problems with the original game code means it has less potential then the de ai, and of course it cant micro, so there are aspects that will be worse. but it still should give most players a decent challenge while teaching them how to play supremacy better. will function on pretty much all maps.

    I'm specifically talking about balance updates which AoE2 DE gets regularly!

    Personally, I hope it won't get completely abandoned just like AoE1 DE which doesn't get updates anymore :(

    We will finally get to see the game in almost all it's glory starting this evening! All Age Insiders signed up before 2nd of October will get a preview of the game, and they are allowed to stream that preview!

    Well known streamers like Samurairevolution and the ESOC crew are among the people who will stream tonight. ESOCTV start their stream at 15:00 GMT, and the event officially launches at 17:00 UTC / 10 am PT / 13:00 ET.

    I hope they give us late insiders access too, didn't know about the event and so only signed up today ...

    so what is the optimal hotkey setup for pvp?

    I played a lot of aoe3 and was always major or lt col with default setup... but during this new version I want to really push my skill especially in 1v1

    My rank was pretty much driven by my ability to always make the right choice and know when to take risks etc, but not always the best micro

    confused on nz price point and not having discount

    i own aoe 3 complete on steam and i see in news that if you own it the definitive edition should be $15 usd but it is $40nzd ($27usd) im kind of confused on this. sorry if this has been asked before.
