This is such a disappointment because the game is in a really bad spot right now with lots of crashes in teamgames and bugs almost 2 months since its release. Every time when I want to convince friends to buy the DE they ask about the state of the game. And now I can't even defend the devs anymore by saying that they at least are aware and patch it quite frequently after almost 3 weeks without any major update. | Wakina + Bow Rider VS Swiss Pike Posted: 03 Dec 2020 11:44 PM PST I learned tonight that an army of only swiss pike can wreck a larger army of Wakina, Bow Rider, and Rifle Riders. Their unit description should just read "kills Lakota". I bet you are wondering by now, "well why didn't you just kite them with rifle riders"? Because he was just sending 5 randomly all over the map in cover mode making it impossible to escape, while 4 of them just take down my TC with ease. I though 20+ rifle riders would do the trick but I was wrong. I'm dead inside. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 04 Dec 2020 10:14 AM PST Hey all i got a quick question- was wondering if i could get some help. Me and my buddy both have AOE 3 definitive ed on PC through xbox games pass. We managed to play one game together one night before we were unable to connect the next. The first time we had this issue off the rip- it was because my game wasnt updated (easily fixed by updating through xbox app). The next day we tried connecting and we had the same issue as before- however i have no update available to catch up to his version number. Have any of you had this issue before? I still struggle to see when i should be using Musketeers instead of Skirmishers and anti-cav units such as Dragoons and Halberdiers/Pikes. It seems everytime i go for them, they get absolutely shredded by artillery, skirmishers but also cav. I thought Skirm/Dragoon combo was more efficient. How should i use Musketeers ? Thanks.
