Posted: 11 Mar 2021 07:15 PM PST Guys, always when I and two friends are going to play ranked or multiplayer games (3x3, ever) and we suffer attacks in early game, we lose. What strategies for not losing the game so fast and fight against rushs? Is there a better civilization for these cases? tips are apreciatted xDxD [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 12 Mar 2021 02:54 AM PST Every update, no matter how small it is, my SSD starts making anoying high frequency noises which I interpret as coil whining. The funny thing is, I've only noticed these sounds when AoE 3 updates. These updates also take very long to be processed on my hard drive (e.g. for 35mb often more than 3 minutes). Whats so different about AoE 3 update behaviour compared to other games (assuming other people are also experiencing this)? [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 11 Mar 2021 10:18 AM PST I just watched Samurai's video with the lil bombards https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68q4-f-vfTk and it got me thinking, what actually is the most powerful artillery in the game ? Is the the great bombard? Heavy Cannon? Lil bombard? Flying Crows? I personally lean towards Lil Bombards. I'd also be interested to hear what you guys think is the pound for pound best artillery in the game, ie factoring in cost effectiveness and utility. My pick for this would either be the Light horse Artillery with Dutch, the Japanese flaming arrows or just your standard European culverin, but I think i'd lean towards Culverin because I love that unit, it has one job and it does it perfectly.
