    60 minutes into a game, we're coming back, then it crashes

    I can't believe this just happened.

    We're 60 minutes into the game, I'm super invested, I'm carrying my team, we're finally coming back. And then all of a sudden while clicking on a home city shipment my game just blinks out of existence.

    I didn't lag out, my computer is super stable and has no issues with it. The game just suddenly blinked out of existence.

    I can't believe after all these years there's no way to reconnect to a game after getting booted out. I'm honestly feeling devastated.

    Does Japan need a nerf?

    I have played DE and I think Japan needs a nerf to their units not their economy. The reason is because I was playing a game against a Japanese player who sat in his base until he got to age 3. Then he got home city upgrades for his Ashigaru and spammed only that with some Flaming Arrow and Yumi. The Ashigaru had more HP and Attack than my sepoy and with his Damiyos they never seemed to die.

    Here are my suggestions:

    • Nerf Ashigaru hitpoints from 170 to 165 so they don't compare to Sepoys or Janissaries in the early game as an equal.
    • Make Yumi have longer firing animation so people don't hit and run with archers.
    • Make Naginata have 20% ranged resist like every other cavalry unit so musketeer units can deal with them easier at range.
    • Explorers can only build shrines after Heavenly Kami is sent to avoid shrines on your herds 2 minutes in the game.
    • Damiyos and Shoguns cannot receive shipments but if you ally with the Japanese Consulate you can send Clan Offerings for 400 export that allows Damiyos and Shoguns to receive shipments. Damiyos also cannot move while they are receiving the shipment. This is to avoid people sending Damiyos to the flank to spawn an entire shipment in the enemy's base or army.

    What are your guys thoughts about Japan? Do they need a nerf?

    the ai for America is... something

    The Ai for America is so bad that it never tries to age up or attack my base. Am I the only one? Ai for America is basically nonexistent.

    What am I missing with attack move?

    In most RTS games you select your at and you can right click on either your map or mini map. Usually this means move there BUT attack anything hostile if it's in range..until you get to where I clicked.

    This doesn't happen for me. In fact I have no idea how to "aggressively" move my troops blindly. It's killing me because it's requiring tons of APM to simply move troops.

    Ignore water at your own risk - Game 1: Japan's boom is insane on water. Game 2: Opponents' rush and loss of a TC doesn't hurt Brit that takes water. Excellent team play from both teams in these back to back 2v2 games.

    Need Help Completing Tennessee Challenge (200 Villager Damage)

    I don't know if it's bugged for me or if I'm doing something wrong. Pumping out a ton of villagers and I'm killing treasure guardians, enemies, destroying buildings, etc. And I'm only using villagers, but for some reason I can't get the mission to complete. Playing as the French.

    Any tips on how to complete?

    Playing vanilla in 2021

    Is there a way to play Vanilla AoE3 in 2021 without having an original disk? I don't like the civs or features that were added in the expansions. I think they bloated the game a lot. Not really interested in multiplayer, just skirmishes and campaign.

    What are your most creative or funny names for your explorers/ war chiefs/ monks/ etc.? I'm generally torn between honoring historical characters (like Sun Tzu for China) and meme names (like Joakim Broden for Sweden or the legendary Florida Man for the USA).
