    With the most recent update, the logistician is the best age up choice for Russia in 99% of games.

    Since blockhouses now give only 5 population (but 15 with the logistician, along with a free blockhouse wagon) the value is now a free house (100 wood) per blockhouse. So assuming you build one blockhouse during age up + the free blockhouse wagon, you have 2 blockhouses +200 wood, or 450 wood of value... Compared to the quartermaster's 400. This only goes up from there if you build more than 2 blockhouses.

    Even with the additional 100 food cost for the logistician, you save villager second not needing to gather the wood crates or build the 2nd blockhouse with a villager which should more than make up the difference. Unless you plan to play a Russia game with only 1 blockhouse or want to beeline into fortress with 500 food, I dont see any situation the logistician isn't the best choice.

    I have 200 hours of AOE3 original, I just play with my friend versus expert bot.. I Just bought definitive edition.. and i'd like to know if i'll have to learn all again, cause i heard that Definitive Editions has some buffs and Nerfs.. I mean, are them just little changes or is considerable enough to sit and learn all again??

    Is there a Meta? like there are betters civs than others at the moments, and patchs changes that during the year?

    Is The African Royals DLC included with XBOX gamepass? AOE3 Definitive

    Just finished all of AOE3's current campaigns excluding the ones in the new DLC, I was wondering since I own it on XBOX game pass if this DLC is included as I can't find a way to install it and it says "WITH GAMEPASS" under it, thanks.

    Napoleonic Era website down?

    I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the DE release, but the Napoleonic Era mod (the largest AOE3 conversion I'm aware of) website has been up for over a decade and all of a sudden it's down.

    Does anyone know why? I've searched around and all I can find are outdated pages talking about the old release. People have been waiting for 2.2 for so many years and the mod developer was actually part of the DE team but he said he was still going to release 2.2.

    Sebastopol Mortar Nerfed - Patch Notes [AOE3:DE]

    Recently started playing ranked in AOE3….. 3/7 of my games just straight up crashes and sent me back to the desk top and during those games I’ve been very obviously winning, this last one (5 minutes ago) I was in his home base finishing him off when it crashed…. Is there any way to salvage my rep?

    As someone who has just been trying the civ for the last 4 days while on ranked, I rarely lose with them. Even before I knew how to even play the Civ, selling cattle for 500 wood or coin is insane. Griots + 5 card to make 10 griots, is insane lol. You can literally stop a whole army from attacking. Everytime I use my heards of cattle I quickly gain 500 pts over the opponent. The only games I've lost have been ones where I've played exquisitely bad.

    Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying it. But I just wanted to voice that even as a Hausa player, enjoying wins, I'm finding them insanely overpowered. Way more so than Ethiopians, which are also OP.
