Civilization Match-up Discussion Round 13 Week 11: Bulgarians vs Malians Posted: 07 Dec 2021 10:56 PM PST Aaaand this officially makes 4 years of these civ match up discussion posts! :D Hello and welcome back for another Age of Empires 2 civilization match up discussion! This is a series where we discuss the various advantages, disadvantages, and quirks found within the numerous match ups of the game. The goal is to collectively gain a deeper understanding of how two civilizations interact with each other in a variety of different settings. Feel free to ask questions, pose strategies, or provide insight on how the two civilizations in question interact with each other on any map type and game mode. This is not limited to 1v1 either. Feel free to discuss how the civilizations compare in team games as well! So long as you are talking about how the two civilizations interact, anything is fair game! Last week we discussed the Berbers vs Indians, and next up is the Bulgarians vs Malians! Bulgarians: Infantry and Cavalry civilization
Malians: Infantry civilization
Below are some match up-specific talking points to get you all started. These are just to give people ideas, you do not need to address them specifically if you do not want to!
Thank you as always for participating! Next week we will continue our discussions with the Aztecs vs Slavs. Hope to see you there! :) [link] [comments] | ||

Ok, why are Incas considered a "meso" civ? How did that name come to use in the first place? Posted: 07 Dec 2021 06:19 AM PST I mean, it's only three civs we're trying to group together. It would have been fairly easy to find something all three have in common, and being located in Mesoamerica is not it. I wonder how the term "meso civ" was coined and accepted. Ideally they should be called american civs, but that doesn't sound right, it sounds confusing because of America the country. "New World civs" on the other hand I think is very good. It's still two syllables and we could abbreviate it to nw civs, as we all know aoe players like to abbreviate everything. [link] [comments] |
