Mexico build order for NR40 treaty Posted: 17 Jan 2022 11:55 PM PST The standard route Age2(Tlaxcala) → Age3(San Luis Potosi) → Age4(Guerrero) → Age5(Oaxaca) Sustainability : decent, after 10-20 minutes of fight you should get out all the eco cards, around 7k resource per min at most Starting resource : decent, I'm not very good at the game so I can only get 140-160k score by end of 40min, resource will run out fast if the fight is very intense Army strength : very good, Soldado overpop(use the card that turns Salteador into Soldado, 120 if no vil delete, 200 with full vil delete) + 12 Conquistadors + 16 Aztec dudes is a titanic army. You need to do some major damage with your first push or you will slowly lose steam if your opponent is on par with your skill. The popular Yucatan route This is the build order I see the most often on ladder Age2(Tlaxcala) → Age3(San Luis Potosi) → Yucatan → Mexico Sustainability : slightly better than standard route cuz of the trickle and wood toggle you get from Yucatan cards, still even with full eco cards 7-8k resource per min Starting resource : slightly better than standard route Army strength : you don't get the Aztec dudes so you will need to take natives to compensate for that, not too much of big deal The XP farm build I usually go this way cuz I want to have more cards out before fight starts, build up to 30 vil in Age1 and go straight for Age4, get the church upgrade card asap. Age2(Tlaxcala) → Central America → Mexico → Age5(Oaxaca) Sustainability : slightly worse than standard in the long run, but usually better if the fight last 20-30 min or less Starting resource : slightly better than standard cuz you probably can send out all eco cards by 40 min Army strength : same as Yucatan route The trade build This one you can have a gigantic starting resource, I've seen high level players choose this order and have 220-240k score by 40min. The idea is to get as much wood as possible and use the Age2 Durango card to exchange wood for coin.(it's 1 : 1.5 rate) This build only works on maps with trees to chop, don't try it on desert maps. Age2(Durango) → Age3(Sonora) → Age4(Chihuahua) → Age5(Oaxaca) Sustainability : slightly worse than standard in the long run, but it doesn't matter at all cuz you won't be running out of coin anyway. Starting resource : gigantic, can get up to more than 150k coin by 35-40 min Army strength : you don't get any innate Natives but your coin bank is so big that you can afford to vil delete for some massive Soldado mass. The ultimate revolution It's one of my favorite build, but sadly haven't seen anybody use it on ladder that actually did well. It's probably better than California or Texas cuz your infantry can get Imperial, but your eco is absolute garbage you need to get fed or play super turtle. Age2(Tlaxcala) → Age3(San Luis Potosi) → Yucatan → Maya Sustainability : shit, no way in hell you have time to send out all the eco cards before revolting, maybe in NR90 games, but not NR40 or NR60. Usually around 6k resource per min at max. Starting resource : shit, can barely get out all the important upgrades by 40min Army strength : shit, have strong Infantry(but you don't have Imperial Soldado), but Artillery is shit, Cav is shit(that 12 Conquistadors are your only hope of dealing with Artillery). You basically play the supporting role of spamming Forts, and hope the game last long enough to have so much Forts out on map that becomes exodia. Probably not a viable strategy at higher level of play. [link] [comments]

4v4 Large map late game someone always crashes! Posted: 17 Jan 2022 03:32 PM PST Any other game where you didn't just spend 30 mins building up to it crashing I wouldn't really care. It's sucks ass especially when you pass all game requirements. how many people have pested me now I wonder? I will be boycotting this game… Starting tomorrow - we'll maybe. [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Jan 2022 10:41 PM PST I remember seeing a post here a couple days ago or so about how good ERKs are, but I think some of that post is wrong. The unit tags for ERKs are wrong in game. They are tagged as ranged infantry, shock infantry, and land military in game. That means that skirmisher type units should have negative bonuses against them and dragoon type units should counter them. The opposite is true when you look at the damage numbers. ERKs are basically treated as dragoons in game even though they are labeled wrong. [link] [comments]
How do I get cards in singleplayer? DE Posted: 17 Jan 2022 12:30 AM PST I'm quite far into the main campaign, yet I still have yet to discover how to get cards. I found how to edit my deck, but I have nothing to edit it with. I think once or twice during the story my deck automatically changed, but that is quite different than my 8/44 cards. Posted: 17 Jan 2022 12:37 AM PST Republic China - this revolution refers to the Xinhai Revolution in 1911, so maybe just in time frame of AOE3 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1911_Revolution Cost 1000f/w/c, can start revolt in Age3, can revolt further into Communist China All military units become Republic Infantry (Musketeer with -20% HP and atk, -25% cost), 2 pop units become 2 Republic Infantries, War Academies can now train Republic Infantry individually but lose ability to train banner armies. Home city Cards Anhui Clique 皖系军阀 - Ships 10 Republic Riflemen (same stats and cost as Arquebusiers, with western uniforms), and allow them to be trained in War Academy and Castle Fengtian Clique 奉系军阀 - Ships 12 Horse Bandits (same stats and cost as Steppe Rider, with Chinese hairstyle instead of Manchurian), and allow them to be trained in War Academy and Castle Zhili Clique 直系军阀 - Cost 1000 export, Ships 1 Culverin, 1 Motor, and 1 Horse Artillery, and allow those cannons to be trained in Castle. Training cannons cost export. National Bourgeoisie - Cost 500w. Ships a factory wagon, factory can be toggled to produce export. Terraced Tea Farms - Rice Paddies produce export 300% faster. Fort Wagon - the usual unlimited Forts Communist China - this revolution started as May Fourth Movement in 1921 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/May_Fourth_Movement cost 2000f, revolt from Republic China Villager build limit increased to 120. Population limit increased to 260.(this is to compensate for weaker units that are stuck in Age3 tech and no Native alliance like USA/Canada revolutions) Village gains an attack that is same as a block house. All units except ships and artilleries only cost food. Republic Infantry is renamed to Comrade Infantry, Republic Riflemen is renamed to Comrade Riflemen. Have International student cards that refers to Chinese students who studied in Western countries returning home bringing back advanced technology. Great Long Expedition 长征 - Comrade units gain 2% HP and 2% attack, Village build limit +1. can be sent infinite times. American International students - Ships an Arsenal builder, gains 0.5 XP trickle British International students - Ships 2 Surgeons, gains 0.5 XP trickle Japanese International students - Ships a Shrine builder, gains 1 XP trickle Russian International students - cost 1000f, ships a Factory wagon, set Factory build limit to 3 Miao friendship - Ships 6 pigs (can be fattened from 100f to 600f) and allows Villages to train them (cost 50 food), pig build limit + 6, can be sent infinite times. Hui Muslim friendship - Ships 10 sheep and increase livestock fatten rate by 20%. Korean friendship - Ships 3 Korean fishing boats (that has 100% faster base gathering rate). Tibet friendship - Ships 5 Tibetan mastiffs (same stats as Indian Tigers) and build limit +5, allows Hero to train them, can be sent twice. Uyghur friendship - Ships a grape farm (a rice paddy that has 20% higher base food gathering rate), can be sent twice. [link] [comments]

New revolutionary state: Algeria Posted: 16 Jan 2022 09:03 AM PST As I remember, there was a debate about implementing Morocco or Algeria as a revolutionary nation on Reddit. For a weird reason, I was thinking on making an attempt to create one. Revolting nation: French Specialty: Coureurs des Bois transform into Desert Warriors Revolutionary cards:
It's a good question, if the Berber Sultan (as a unit) should be included at all, and if yes, as a separate card or as a part of an existing card. It's questionable because of the Desert Warriors at the point of the revolution. This is a fanmade concept, and a pretty early one as well. It doesn't count with balancing things, multiplayer metas or anything at all. [link] [comments]

I wish they made a campaign for the Inca Posted: 15 Jan 2022 12:08 PM PST I generally always like to see this civilization in games, since I love their architecture, tales and the traditional music from that region. but it's such a shame that there isn't even a historical battle with this civilization. A campaign could have very interesting maps with many mountain ranges, terraces and choke points, it could be about fighting Francisco Pizarro or it could be fictional with some other minor tribes like mapuches or tehuelches. I guess that the same can be said about most of the civs that have no campaign but it would be so interesting to see this one. I wish the devs would consider, maybe even doing a campaign pack DLC. Thinking of coming back to aoe3, did they fix the broken civs? Posted: 15 Jan 2022 12:12 PM PST Hi! Until 2 years ago I was very active on the multiplayer but then I went into university. Now I want to come back and realized there are many new civs and that many people moved to the definitive version. I wanted to ask if they fixed the previous issues such as the broken french cavalry and the 37k hp Aztec walls? [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 Jan 2022 06:24 PM PST Sooo, I play Spain and at my elo 1550-1650ish I have a ZeR0 % win ratio versus Aztecs since they were buffed. Probably played 7 games vs them since the buffs and every time it's me getting annihilated, not even close. Heck I have a far better win ratio vs broken op Incas than Aztecs. All I see them do nowadays is warrior priest boom into industrial and spam ERKs. If I do the standard ff and push I get annihilated by WPs hand attack and infinitely spamming minutemen, if I stay passive and try to get unction and go to age4 with upgraded goons and skirm musks I get annihilated, revolt into death hussars I get annihilated. Literally feels like I should resign the moment I see Aztec. Also it seems near impossible to scout to know what they're up to aside from looking for an fb which you may or may not miss and het rushed unknowingly..... their age1 warchief guardian scout army makes it super risky to scout and as Spain you need the explorer. This civ feels super gimmicky with broken ass units and I'm at a loss of how to beat them., any advice is appreciated. P.S. Please nerf ERKs, per pop they are more than twice as tanky as a goon, and have X3 the dps of a goon (not including atk dance), and they're way cheaper. Reduce their range resist to 20% like other goon units and their attack and they'll be fine. [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 Jan 2022 08:27 AM PST I'm trying to play AOE3 (original) at university (on university wifi - ie not a router but a big campus wide system) but whenever I try to join an online game it says 'failed to join game'. Anyone have any suggestions to fix this? [link] [comments] |
