For people who are wondering where other royal houses are Posted: 13 May 2022 09:42 PM PDT Some old team cards are renamed to "House of xxx" specific to that nation, with its coat of arms as the icon. E.g. French: Bonaparte (forgot what it was) British: Tudor (TEAM house construction time) Swedish: Bernadotte (TEAM infantry hp) Dutch: Nassau (TEAM age 1 market tech cost reduction) Germans: Hohenzollern (TEAM TC hp) The effects are not changed. So they kinda chose the royal houses that are more universal as "native settlements" and used the more regional ones as civ specific cards. [link] [comments]

What do you guys think about the Tank? Posted: 13 May 2022 03:03 PM PDT so they added a tank to the game for italy....I think it's super well made and it looks suprisingly well balanced to me anyways... I don't know if the rapid fire ability is legit, it seems legit to me but i'm not sure if they're gonna tweak that "2 rate of fire" Honestly I truly have no idea how well balanced the tank is gonna be and I also don't know if i'm ever gonna use it, being a 1 vs 1 player and all but team players and treaty players are gonna be seeing this bad boy a lot what do you guys think? Knights of the Mediterranean mercenaries and outlaws Posted: 13 May 2022 12:11 PM PDT That is the list that I put on the wikia, IDK if somebody had spotted some other ones. Some of them were previously featured on the European revolutions: Mercenaries:
Outlaws:

Is this game as strictly build-order-driven as AoE2? Posted: 13 May 2022 12:19 PM PDT I've been googling rushing techniques, booming videos, and so on and couldn't find any. And I do get the feeling that in this game the strategy is more of a free balling thing compared to aoe2. Am I right? Or where at least can I find good tutorials for build orders for different types of strategies? [link] [comments]

Which content creators got early access codes that still actually play the game? Posted: 13 May 2022 07:22 AM PDT Glad Fitzbro is doing well focusing on AoE4, but I personally have no interest in it. Watching his overview of the home city cards made me kinda sad, it seems he doesn't have much interest in AoE3 anymore. (No knowledge of battleships, calling Age I "the dark age") I'd like to support content creators who actually are still interested in aoe3. Who would you recommend? [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 May 2022 06:57 AM PDT Is it just me, or are the cattle at the market OP? They are basically instant resource crates, so you can gather just food and gold and sell cattle for the slowest resource, wood. Yesterday In a 1v1 against hausa, I killed 5 vills and he was left with 16. I still got outmassed as china with 28 vills and 4 military shipments. We both reached the second age at the same time too. It just seems OP that you can instantly acquire 300 to 400 wood for cattle you start with. That same amount of wood would take a ton of time, or a shipment which would slow your momentum in building up and seems unfair. Thoughts? [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 May 2022 08:41 AM PDT Can anyone explain me the pre order thing with the knights of mediterrenian DLC is pre ordering better and cheaper then ordering later ? or ordering after release is better ? and when i pre order am i getting this to play instantly ? or i will have to wait till release ? Maybe i can get it for free by doing some in game tasks ? [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 May 2022 05:10 PM PDT Hey guys! So the british now have several options for dealing with infantry, each with their strengths and weaknesses. The longbowman is cheap, has long range and comes in early and now has good cards to help it along, but it's pretty weak and costs wood. The ranger is a decent skirmisher, but comes in pretty late in the game. The grenadeir has an aoe and can bring down buildings, but is pretty expensive. What do you British players think? What is the best option to round out the british army and helps out musks and huss' best? [link] [comments]
Malta's Teleportation Ability? Posted: 13 May 2022 05:07 PM PDT So I just learned that Malta has a teleportation building. Not even kidding. A type of building they have can garrison units and then those same units can be re-deployed from another of that same type of building anywhere on the map. Anyone else think this is really dumb and/or OP? Like, why? Why would this be added to the game? Like, I know this game isn't 100% realistic or historically accurate but... teleportation? That's ridiculous. What is this supposed to simulate? Here's a video about it. It starts at about 5:15 [link] [comments] |
