Why am i getting crappy FPS?

    Posted: 19 Sep 2019 07:06 PM PDT

    I have an HP 8470p

    1600x900

    i7 3740QM

    8GB ram

    AMD Radeon HD 7570M

even with all the graphic features on the lowest setting, my games still lag like hell..

What could possibly be going on?

I've played this game on an older laptop with a CPU and graphics card that is lower on the benchmark.

    Very frustrating.

Thou Shalt Not Suffer a Smurf

    Posted: 19 Sep 2019 10:30 AM PDT

Is it Smurfing if you never play rated games, but mostly FFA and occasional 1v1 unrated games? What's the harm if, assuming this is smurfing, you only play games that don't affect other peoples' ratings?

This is a small community. FFA is an even smaller community. I don't want a bad reputation. After watching some YouTube videos and consulting this subreddit, I've started playing again—always as Ports—and I get called a Smurf if I win as if I'm deliberately trying to deceive people who join my games. I am a conscript. Part of the reason why I don't like rated games is that it pigeonholes you into playing with people of the same rating and punishes losing streaks if you try to play against higher rated players so you can be better. Also, players concerned with rating often try to fix games so they don't lose. You see this in team games mostly. Is this actually a shitty thing to do, or are my opponents being salty?

Don't wanna end up on pest lists in so small a community.
