    So the graphics are going to be updated, and that looks awesome. But why else should someone who enjoys AoE2 be excited for DE? I've found very little about it.

    Results - Feasibility of LAN events in India

    I would like to thank all those who participated in the survey.The feasibility of LAN events survey results are looking great so far.

    Based on the survey, here is what I think is reasonable

    Ticket prices:Students (with valid ID+no scholarship) - 150Rs, 100rs per additional student if he or she would like to bring them along

    Others - 350Rs, 150 per extra person.Food and drinks can be ordered separately (costs extra), and we will delivery their food in 2hrs after the arrival.Refunds - organisers has to be notified one week in advance to get the refund. The refund will be only the half amount.How money will be spent:

    Atleast half the amount will be spent on the day event (small tourney), viewer games.Additions costs: PC, location rent.

    Any money that is saved during the event will be used to organise AoE India events + maintain the website (.

    For now the event will be planned in Bangalore, dates are yet to be finalised. (Already talking to several esport arenas, and the talks are going good)Other Confirmed locations in future: (events will be based on the amount of sponsors and type of place we get to host the event)

    1. Chennai
    2. Mumbai
    3. Pune (if TopSpin) can find reasonable sponsors there

    All the LAN events will go live and there is a possibility for other sponsors to pitch and display their stuff at LAN and online. If anyone's aware of such sponsors let me know.

    Unto grouping question

    So when I played age of empires 2 when I was young I remember that the AI formed formations and marched towards something. But I notice now that I bought it on steam with the expansions the AI doesn't do that anymore it just sporadically spams units as they are made. Is there a fix for this or does anyone know what caused it?

    Are the new tech trees already unveiled for the 4 new civs? I'm really curious as to what units they get and their respective bonuses'. Btw, I'm also curious about the current tech trees. Did these change in any way?

    Hotkey/time/ingame statistics

    Every time i load up aoe2 through voobly the hotkeys reset, the timer isnt present and the statistics are minimized. I tried going in-game and changing them thinking it was a one time thing but during the session it worked but a new session opened meant another reset. Any help?

    Restarting voobly didnt fix, even task manager killing its background process didnt solve.

    This is a completely new issue and has been working flawlessly for the past 9 months.

    Combo of opening in single player menu (credit ViCiouS_Marauder ) and creating a profile (credit Tempires). Still doesn't explain why this happened in the first place. All worked fine for the last ~year.

    I'm struggling to wall up on BF and not enjoying this game anymore

    Played since I was 12 now 39

    All though not played in years!!....

    I'm a defensive player, rushing and winning fast bores me! I only play BF maps 1v1

    Edit, I only play Post imperial

    Played a few years ago and just started last night.

    I need to wall up at the start or it's game over for me, defence is how I win, eventually!

    My fav civ is Koreans, played 6 matches and couldn't get the wall up! Dam! Startup cavalry gets my villagers building the block path wall everytime.

    What other civ is defensive and can get the wall up fast?.... I liked chinese from trying another civ before as started with 5 villagers!, but no cannons or decent onagers

    What tactic would you use to get the wall up more often than not?

    Please don't criticise my play style :) I don't see the fun or skill to win a match in 2 minutes

    Have Koreans been altered at all to me a lessor civ than before?... If not maybe its the gin!

    I build wall them make archery first, so cheap archers can kill whatever approaches, then move on to cannons and Tower cannons.... Any play advice for better starting defence would be appreciated

    What are some good mods I should get?

    I wanna go from a casual to a comp player. Watching some tutorials on youtube, and there seems to be a few mods people have. (eg grid, idle villager exclamation marks) What are some mods I should definitely download?
