Suggestion, Castle age unique technologies in University? Posted: 27 Oct 2019 01:06 AM PDT I'm sure I'm not the first person to suggest this but couldn't find any reddit posts about it. The idea is to add castle age unique technologies to the university so players aren't forced to invest into a castle just for the tech, which is often not possible in competitive play. It would probably need to come with some kind of balancing costs or something for some of the technologies, for example: AtlAtl 400 food 350 gold -> 600 food 450 gold Yeomen 750 wood 450 gold -> 750 wood 750 gold Castle age techs who would be the biggest winners/overpowered: Atlatl, Yeomen, Chivalry, Anarchy, Marauders Castle age techs that may become viable for castle age strategies, which are seldom used right now: Tusk swords, Obsidian arrows, Sipahi, Chatras, Chieftains, Howdah Things like Slav's Orthodoxy and Teuton's ironclad could become viable as well but are still not game changing. I never play scenarios so I don't know if this would mess with them, like some of the suggested tower balances. But this would allow for a lot more strategy diversity in late castle and transposition to end game. [link] [comments]

Posted: 26 Oct 2019 04:25 PM PDT So if you are far away, the onagers will shoot you. But if you get too close the pikemen will stab you. What do you do? Swarm with cheaper trash units? [link] [comments]

Beginner needing help with match against friends Posted: 26 Oct 2019 12:59 PM PDT I like to play Mongols and I know my friends who I will be facing off against like to play Britons and Koreans, what do I need to know about the matchup? In a 2v2 are Mongols and Spanish good vs Britons and Koreans? Which other civ could work well with Mongols? Any help would be appreciated, cheers [link] [comments]

I can't view recorded games anymore. Posted: 26 Oct 2019 09:03 AM PDT For some reason recently when I go to watch a recorded game all it does is attempt to open the recording in age of conquerors and then says there is an error. When I search it in the game files it doesn't show even why I try to open it with different apps. I think I may have changed something so I cant view it for some reason. I've tried downloading my own and others game recordings. If anyone knows what to do and can help it would really help. [link] [comments]
Bots auto-resign after a few minutes Posted: 26 Oct 2019 12:01 PM PDT Hello, Are we doing something wrong or is it some kind of normal bug? [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Oct 2019 11:51 AM PDT I have been playing a bit online after... 17 years I think? And now that I am older and more critical there are a few things that really bother me: (aside from lags and everyone else being better than me)
This is not an angry rant, I would seriously like to hear some other peoples opinions. I tried googling these things and got no relevant results, which makes me wonder if I am the only person who thinks this. [link] [comments] |
