    Dutch on Caribbean - Cheat?

    Hey, was just playing on Caribbean. A player on my team was Dutch, we spawned on the northern island. 5 minutes in he had about 30 villagers on the eastern island with no dock or ships and had a score of 150 whilst everyone else was <40. Is this a cheat?

    File Out of Sync

    I have been trying to play aoe3 complete collection on steam with some friends but I always get the File out of Sync error at the start of the game.

    I searched google and reddit but the information did not help. It most likely has something to do with my proto file being edited. I can only think that this is caused by Wars of Liberty. I installed this mod a year ago and played it only once. I remember not overwriting my original aoe3 folder when I installed it though.

    Anyway, I figured that I should delete the mod and aoe3 completely and reinstall through steam. I did this but it didnt work unfortunately. I tried again with deleting every trace of this mod and aoe3 on my computer but with the same results.

    I also got a beta key for aoe3 DE and downloaded it but didnt play since the beta was very short and didnt have much time. I dont think this is causing the error but I deleted it aswell, just to be sure.

    Since I have all the original file through steam, my game should work right? I can play offline and online with only computers but it crashes with other players. My friends dont have the mod so they should have the same files as me now.

    Someone who had a similar problem and knows how to fix this?

    Concerning New ESO Account

    Hello all,

    I just bought AoE3 for a few of my friends on steam, and want to make sure I have the details right for getting set up on multiplayer. I've never played online before and I just made my ESO account yesterday to test it out. I made this account after booting into the game by selecting the Asian Dynasties on startup.

    When my friends first start playing, is this the correct way for them to make a functional ESO account? Does it even matter which choice you make (base game, War Chiefs, or Asian Dynasties) upon booting the game from steam?

    I always boot from the Asian Dynasties and I assume that's fine, but I just want to be sure. Hopefully this question makes sense!

    I'm getting "Failed to join" on ESO aoe3. I have the complete collection.

    I tried Samurai Revolutions idea with editing the host file in system32 folder. That didn't work. Any idea what I'm doing wrong ? Thank you in advance.

    Why nobody use archaic train card with spain?? (nr40)

    I think that it can be usefull for instant pikemans to stop oprichniks and gendarme boxes. Also help japanese, brits or chinese allies.

    How can Japan win VS An oto rush ( supremacy)

    Im pretty familiar with the japs and mostly play 1 VS 1 (~elo 1730-1750). I know the basics and can do a very well shrine boom or rush. Most of the Times when i expect a rush i go Tori gates and mass yumi with the 600 Wood or even use the yummi unit card. But against An oto rush i always lose. If i can hold of the first batch of Jans i get demolished by the second push with their abus gunners.. any tips or specific build orders i can do to counter their rush? (I play on standard maps and no esoc patch)

    Plantation Placement

    I happened to notice that plantations have different crop growths depending on their placement, can this affect the gathering rate? Or what is their purpose?

    Hey guys I'm a veteran noob who just purchased the game (used to play a LONG time ago) with the Steam sale. I used to be semi-decent (reached peak rank of Major).
