    Just spent 2hour 47mins to beat Hard AI for the first time, AI hid behind castle line and had Onagers kill all my aggression, didn't know what to do, super scrappy game, i'm exhausted...

    Not quite raindeer

    I hope you have a fantastic day with your loved ones and can remember those who aren't among us anymore with love. It has been a rough year for most people, and even though it isn't over, this can be a perfect day to start moving forward with.

    This scene was made in Blender, using the Cycles rendering engine and I used the assets I had made for my tournament map intro videos already (all of which you can find in this playlist) plus some customization.

    If you'd like to see the maps in action this Saturday 14GMT there'll be the first tournament Quarterfinal between ACCM and Saymyname that you can watch live on my channel https://twitch.tv/novaaoe (hey I was told I have to sell out more, so at least I), and I'll be posting a little picture gallery by request, with all the map models I made.

    Just started playing this game again and I'm going through the campaign. Does anyone else go completely overboard before sending your units out to devastate the AI?

    Here I am with half of the maps tree cut, mines mined, fishes caught and every now and then the opposing AI sends 8 units to attack me.

    They have no idea what awaits them.

    Which civilisation has the best champions ?

    These civs generally come to mind, but which is the best among this

    1. Vikings with 84 HP champs and +5 against cavalry
    2. Japanese with 33 percent faster attacking champs
    3. Malians with +3 pierce armour but with -2 attack
    4. Aztecs with +4 attack
    5. Burmese with +3 attack (but no upgrades required)
    6. Goths with 35 percent cheaper champs
    7. Bulgarian 2HS with +5 melee and upgrades free
    8. Celts whose champions are 5 percent faster than anyone else's
    9. Slavs with trample damage champions

    Also which champions do cost effectively against cavalier/paladin

    How to counter Cataphracts as Goths?

    I feel like Goths vs. Byzantines is a matchup from Hell. I know that a general advice is early pressure, target the eco etc., but assuming that your opponent does have a significant number of Cataphracts, what's the best way to actually fight them? They simply shred my pikes and halbs, especially after they get logistica. Also, Goth lack plate armor, so that makes it even less viable. I have had some moderate success with archers, but the lack of arbs and the cheap Byzantines skirms doesn't make it cost efficient.

    I have tried to be more aggressive (to be honest, I'm probably somewhere between noob and intermediate so there is definitely room for improvement here) , but I feel that the cataphracts, with their greater mobility, just run me over and then break through into my base. At this point it usually isn't that difficult as I have no stone walls.

    So is there a more specific advice other then just to improve my game all-around?

    Hi folks,

    Does anyone know the name of the symbol tattooed on the chest of the Woad Raider? The original version looks to me like a circle with six points emanating outward, sort of like a negative picture of an eclipse...

    Trying to find more examples of it but googling these words is returning nothing close to it.
