    This is basically a translation of the original Finland description from the patch notes. In case anyone is unaware, you can Revolt to Finland as Russia or Sweden. Doing so ships 4 Blockhouse Wagons and grants the Frontier Blockhouse upgrade for free while removing the build limit on Blockhouses. It also turns your Settlers into Veteran Skirmishers. These Skirmishers can do everything that Settlers can do except they can only gather from Trees and Crates and their gathering rate cannot be increased by anything. Skirmishers can be upgraded as far as Guard Skirmishers, can be trained for 100 Wood each, and have a 99 build limit. You can't train Settlers anymore.

    Here's the Finnish deck you get, starting with the big cards first:

    • Northern Wilderness: Enables Skirmishers to gather from Huntables, Herdables, Bushes, and Mines.

    • Blackberries: Sends 1 Berry Bush for every House, Torp, and Blockhouse you have. Each Berry Bush sent from this card contains 1,000 Food each. However, this card cannot be sent if you've already sent the Swedish card with the same name earlier in the game.

    • Turku Academy: Ships 4 Surgeons, an extra Explorer, grants both Explorers the ability to train Surgeons and build Field Hospitals, and grants both Explorers the same Heal ability that the French Explorer gets from the Voyageur card and the Haudenosaunee War chief gets from the Secret Society upgrade at the Fire Pit. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Heal ability, it's extremely powerful: Restores 50 health per second over 8 seconds to all units in a radius of 10 (400 total health per unit), 2 minute cooldown. It's also a unit-targeted ability, so using it in the heat of battle may cause the ability to get cancelled due to the death of the unit you have targeted. It has a minimum cast range of around 6 but if your targeted Heal unit moves away then your Explorer will continue to Heal in the radius of 10 around that unit until it reaches a roughly 26 range distance at which point the Heal will stop.

    • Infinite 1 Tree that spawns at each House, Torp, and Blockhouse worth 300 Wood each

    • Infinite 4 Copper Mine Wagons (2,000 Coin each/8,000 total)

    • Infinite 1,600 Food Crates

    • Infinite 1,600 Coin Crates

    • Infinite 15 Elk

    • Infinite 5 Blockhouse Wagons

    • Infinite 8 Hakkapelits with free Veteran upgrade

    To me (a non-pro), the Finnish Revolution seems useful from the Swedish perspective when it comes to late-game Wood production and continued Torp usage with the Infinite Trees and Copper Mines. Possibly a good option in team games where you can have some Wood-hungry teammate utilize all the Trees into their own Imperial Age.

    As for Russia, the uncapped Blockhouse limit has some interesting synergy with the "Strelet Horde" card that sends 5 Strelets for every Blockhouse you build, though you'd have to have sent that card prior to the Revolution. If you want to spam Blockhouses all over the map, the Infinite Trees card more than pays for itself when factoring in Blockhouse costs (+300 Wood per tree, -250 wood cost per Blockhouse).

    Is attack move and shift clicking still bugged for anyone?

    I'm getting really frustrated. Far too often my units start waltzing right past enemy units getting themselves killed. There are time where I'll click a-move 3-4 times in a row and they just keep walking. Another issue I've seen is if I a-move into the fog, and an enemy appears from the fog, my units will just walk right past despite the command I gave them.

    Another issue with military units is the delay when giving them commands. If I switch my front-line jans to melee, it's because I want them to attack what's right in front of them. First problem, they freeze for like a full second after being given the command. It's fine if they wanted a delay before being able to attack in a different mode, but there's no reason for the unit to freeze in place. Second issue doesn't always happen, but when it does it's annoying af. Units that I switched to melee will sometimes walk past all the targets in front of them, seemingly targeting enemies at the back of their army, getting themselves killed in the process.

    Finally, an issue with shift clicking. I've noticed it primarily for building and herding. I'll shift click a vill to build something then back to resources. I'll look elsewhere to do other things, and when I come back the vill never left the resources. Has also happened with my explorer. I've also often sent a vill to herd, and they completely ignore the first destination and fire at the herd right away, sending it away from my TC.

    The a-move has always been buggy, but the issues with shift clicking seems to have happened after the last update.

    Anyone else having problems with these things? I'm a very micro intensive player, and it gets frustrating when I get into an engagement and 20% of my commands are unresponsive.

    I can't never stay with one civ for a long time

    Well, hi.

    The title is a main problem for me since ages. I started to play this game like 10 years ago and since day one, im constantly changing my "main" civ.

    Im more of an economic player, and, as well, i play a lot of treaty with friends. That means, i love to boom.
    The first civ i used a lot, was the Dutchs, i really love the idea of banks an how they boosts your eco, but then i discovered that was one of the poorest ecos in the game and don't really use them any more.

    I tried a lot the Ottos, Japan and Ports as well. And with DE i jump into Sweden. But, in the end, i have the feeling im missing something, military or economical.

    So, anyone has any idea on which civ should i try and, may be "stay" with?. I really like the idea of OTP one of them.

    specifically I'm looking for the Mexican civ music from WoL that plays at the beginning of the game. really curious about the composer / if I can listen to the full piece somewhere. does anyone have any info? I did find a spotify playlist that had some civ music included, but not all. thanks!

    I personally like maps with little to no water and I apparently there isn't one with some minor natives found only on water maps (Tupi, Carib etc).

    I ownder if there's a Amazon map with no rivers and just forests or a Carib map as a single island but with little water around it.

    What's the role of Mapuche Clubman now? And Grenadier?

    I played some maps vs A.I. that had this native but they suck. Hard. Why did they nerf them?

    Old mapuche had 12dmg and 24 dmg vs cav. Now they have18 dmg and 27 dmg vs cavalry. And they are a bit more resliant (+35hp and 10% melee resistance). But it's far from worth it:

    The amount of units available was halved (15 to 8, WTF!!!) and the cost drasttically went up ( 85f 15w -> 100f 65w) and the training time was increased by over 50% (from 20s to 35s)

    MAPUCHE IRONWOOD CLUBMAN

    • Hit points increased to 200 (from 165)
    • Melee Resistance increased to 20% (from 10%)
    • Melee Attack increased to 18 (from 12)
    • 2 Area added (from 0)
    • Cavalry multiplier increased to x2.5 (from x2)
    • Shock Infantry multiplier increased to x1.75 (from x1.5)
    • Cost increased to 100f 65w (from 85f 15w); bounties adjusted accordingly
    • Speed decreased to 4.75 (from 5)
    • Siege damage decreased to 26 (from 30)
    • Train time increased to 35 (from 20)
    • Build Limit decreased to 8 (from 15)

    [New] MAPUCHE BOLAS RIDER

    • Added new unit; is a mounted bolas warrior similar to the Inca Bolas Warrior trained at the Kallanka

    There are still plenty of stuff that need balance (Halberdiers-like units like Jaguar Knight, Skull Knight, Halberdier, Rajput...) unique church techs, minor natives, mercs ) but it makes me wonder:

    I feel they didn't care about natives viability and just threw some buffs and random nerfs without testing them.

    (bug) I'm the only one that thinks that Champion native upgrade aren't changed from vanilla?

    The upgrade from native americans that upgrade them to champions (the one that habe arrows) from TP, seems that didn't got the paincoat for Definitive Edition. It seems very pixelated.

    Anyone can check if there're unused files for them? Or they made an oversight?

    Mini Map Visibility

    Does anyone have a hard time seeing units/buildings on the mini-map sometimes? For example, maps like Florida, Siberia, Great Plains, I have no trouble reading the mini-map.

    But then there are maps like Borneo that feel so clustered that it's a lot more difficult to see raids, find units, etc. Curious if anyone else feels this way or if there is some setting like obscure unit alpha but for the mini-map..?

    I play TAD. Cards just say improves hitpoints or gathers gold faster, etc. Is there somewhere to see the actual details, eg what percentage increases are involved?
