    I had a achievement done, the 2 british rockets: I don't know if you have to be viewing the player that send the shipment in the moment, but I got it. It was my enemy.

    Missing aoe3de civilization/home city

    I just recently bought aoe3 de and played 1 skirmish as the British last night. Today when i tried to play as the British i had no home city for the british (i only have 15 and i should have 16) and cannot play as them. I think i still have the files though as i can vs British in skirmish just not play as them myself. I verified the integrity of the game files through steam and it all came through as fine

    Anyone know how i can play as British / make a British home city?

    AoE3 vs AoE2 [need help deciding]

    So I know this question has probably been asked already, so feel free to ignore it, but I'd really like some custom input on the subject.

    I recently got back to playing on my computer and since I had always wanted to get into Age of Empires I it was high time I bought one of the Definitive Editions (I had played both games a little bit some 5 years ago).

    Money's not something I have in abundance, so I can only buy one of these two, and I can't seem to decide. So, I'm asking on this subreddit (I'll also be asking the complementary question on r/aoe2), if you happen to agree with the following sentence "I think that overall, AoE3 is a more fun/better game than AoE2", could you please tell me the reasons that make you think/feel that way?

    These are some things I like/dislike about each game so you see where I'm coming from and can give me a more "custom" answer: -I like that AoE2 looks smoother/cleaner imo: the movement of the troops, how you place stuff... everything seems more orderly -It stresses me out a little bit that in AoE2 resources are limited while in 3 they're unlimited -I like a bit more the historial period of 3 -The map of 3 feels more interactive/alive: natives, treasures, trading posts, the railroad -AFAIK: 2 has more viable winning strategies than 3? Idk if it's true but a friend told me that in 3 it's basically a rush to Fortress age and rush with falconets most of the time

    is there any mod that allow to increase pop mod? looking to play in multiplayer

    try the no limit population mod and it works as intended and able to use in MP, but I find that feature gives players too much power and pretty much endgame is really easy, though early we have 3 towns become fodder, ( we playing 5 v 3 hardest , all of us are new players)

    so my question is is there any mod that can increase the pop cap, to maybe 300-350
    so we can get more troops, but at the same time not making it too OP, and also be able to use in MP

    So i just played a game of AoE3 with a friend.

    I was Japanese and my friend was Dutch.

    Wie played vs spain and portuguese.

    The spain guy was pretty bad and basically doing nothing except building some cannons once in a while. He seemed like playing the game for the first time.

    So basically it was 2 vs 1.

    The game took 1,5 hours while we desperatly tried to conquer the portugese dude. We were figthing for 45 min on the same spot, without getting any room. We tried everything, cav, musks, cannons, mortars. We both had max settlers but eventuelly ran out of ressources.

    How is it possible that a nation can simply 1 vs 2 for 45 min and not run out of ressources.

    At the end we checked stats and he had almost 600k while we had around 350k-400k.

    Is this nation really that OP?

    ESO Password Reset - Can't access old email anymore

    Hey everybody,

    I have a question that I've yet to find an answer to anywhere online so far or in phone calls with Microsoft support as well as an email to Age of Empires online support.

    I can't seem to remember the password I set up to log in to my ESO online account and play AOE3 - and the issue is that my old email that I set up with this account is no longer in use and I can't get it re-activated either so all the password reset emails I can't ever get to. Does anyone know how to reset the email on the account? Or know of any other way around this super annoying issue? I can't be alone here since this game is very old and I'm sure there are a lot of old emails that other players can't access as well. I am desperate to find an answer here and would appreciate any possible help or ideas from anyone!

    Is it racist to name your explorer after legendary figures from that culture?

    Is it racist to name your explorers after legendary figures hailing from that respective culture

    For example I named my explorer for India mowgli.

    Another example I named my explorer for Japan jiraya after the legendary Japanese folk hero I named my explorers for China Tripitaka,and sun wu Kong Is this racist or just in poor taste?
