    What would you guys like to see next as a DLC?

    I dream of the day where the the Hot Air Balloon guy is given petards that he can drop from the air.

    It would be game changing. Meta changing. Game breaking.

    Is it just me or are the new civs insanely difficult to play right?

    The macro in particular is what's always challenging me, for a number of reasons:

    1. The mid-game APM requirements are absurd. With other civs, if you're in a busy fight but need food/coin, you can quickly grab 10 vills and throw them on an estate or farm real quick. With the new civs, you need to do it 2 at a time with a field. And even then, fields are sub-par compared to other sources of resources, which I will get to below.

    2. Determining what to do with cattle and timing things well is hard, especially in the heat of a fast game. You can sell at any time to cash in on certain resources, at the cost of future development.

    3. Coin is a scarce but critical resource. After you deplete your mines, pretty much the only source is TPs and fields(which are insanely slow). You pretty much need it to keep training cattle which drive your economy, but also some units that cost coin as well.

    4. The amount of age up options are overwhelming, and your choices matter a lot, and can vary by matchup and map. Aging up to 2 with Jesuits can be nice against civs like Lakota for access to a dragoon unit, but might be a bad build order vs other civs such as Dutch.

    5. Things as simple as determining how many military buildings you need is tricky when your resource income is all over the place due to Livestock.

    6. If you task vills to gather livestock, they will keep killing livestock until they are all gone. So getting them to use all of a livestock's food without killing another takes a lot of paying attention.

    7. All in strats present an opportunity with selling cattle, but are also very risky.

    I've played 3 games with them so far, and I still have no idea what I'm doing. It's so easy to float resources due to how much is going on at once

    How do the African Outpost units get upgraded?

    I've only tried the Hausa and I was wondering how the units trained at the outpost get upgraded? Is it shadow upgrading?

    Minimum distance to TC

    Played last night with Portugal and again, i lost because i couldn't take trade route near enemy Town Center.

    I don't understand why you cant build near enemy Town Centers in AOE 3 DE. It's just so stupid.

    In AOE2 DE there's no minimum distance, and it just gives you so many fun strategies to try, in AOE 3 DE it just ruins the game.

    Cannot join buddy to play team ranked games

    Every time either of us accept an invite, it just takes us to the new ranked search screen. When we then click 'play ranked' from there we are not in a party. Is anyone else having this issue?

    Anyone else got this? I think this is what causes the screen freeze then other players to “resign to connection loss”. hasn’t happened to me till just now. (I had a screen shot but lost it sorry for the bad resolution)

    Can’t search ranked

    I'm just wondering if anyone else is having this issue. Every ranked search I've attempted since the patch crashes. I cannot search in groups or solo and I've try verifying, full reinstall and event a vpn. Does anyone have a similar problem/a fix?

    Zulu Kingdom

    I know that the Zulu kingdom was a 19th century kingdom, but god what a great Civ it would have been in The African Royals. I feel like 2 civs was a bit low considering 3 civs were attached to the warchiefs and asian dynasties. How would you guys have felt about a Zulu civ?

    Double Click issue

    Hi everyone. I got this problem where i double click a unit an instead of only selecting the "visible" same type units it selects all the units in the map of the same type. It was never the later one but since one of the recent updates it has taken this behaviour. To summarise, i just want for the double click to select the same type units on the screen.     White circles
