Ranked on Xbox Game Pass Posted: 12 Sep 2021 05:25 AM PDT I'm trying to play ranked on aoe2 DE for the first time on the Xbox game pass, last night I managed to find a game within about 5 minutes, after finishing it I was searching for a game for 40 minutes with no luck so I gave up in the end. Now this morning I've got the same problem, searching for around 40 minutes again but I haven't been able to find a game still. How to move screen while paused Posted: 12 Sep 2021 03:00 AM PDT If someone pauses the game for a few minutes and you wanna move around the map cause theres nothing better to do there is a way. Move your mouse to the edge of the screen in the direction you want to go, zoom in, move mouse to opposite edge of screen and zoom out. So if you want to go left, move mouse left, zoom in, mouse mouse right and zoom out. Its a slow way to get about but if the game is gonna be paused for a while then why not. Empire Wars Elo Posted: 12 Sep 2021 05:42 AM PDT Maybe I'm being an idiot, but why did they not pre-assign the Empire Wars Elo ? I just played a 3v3 EW game and the players 1v1 and Team Elos were: Team 1: 700 1040 970 1350 960 1240 ​ Team 2: 1100 1820 1010 1460 1200 2100 ​ Needless to say it was horribly 1-sided despite the fact we all had the "same" EW Elo I maybe not understanding this right but I feel this will now become a self fulfilling problem because different people will join and thus drop out of EW because the matches are so horribly unbalanced. I know I am now second guessing whether the mode is worth playing, not because its bad but because the match making is so broken atm. What would your response to a balance patch based around making new civs the top be? Posted: 12 Sep 2021 04:06 AM PDT Pretty much what the title says - Imagine a balance patch today that nerfed the top 6 or 7 civs, and buffed other civs to be the new meta civs. the reason for this being that, i am not sure about you guys, but i know, and others are getting bored of seeing tournaments use the same civilizations over and over again. Imagine a meta where Spanish, Vietnamese, and Burmese see more use. Imagine a meta where Japanese and Persians are seen on more then just Hybrid Maps. Imagine a meta where water maps is more then just Vikings, Italians, and Portuguese. Imagine a meta where Byzantines are more common.
