Red Bull Wololo V Enthroned Prediction Contest Day 2

After Day 1 we had 666 (hopefully not foreshadowing something) entries, but only 11 of them managed to predict every game correct. The biggest upset of the day was of course Capoch winning against DauT, who was predicted to win by 92,2% of the contestants. The two series who promised to be the most exciting were not that close after all and were both won 2-0. JorDan was favoured by 78,1% of the contestants, while Vinchester was predicted to win by 72,6% of the people.

The other 4 series had the top seed favoured by over 88% and did not disappoint their top positions, although some matches were closer than expected. Liereyy (97,3%), Hera (88%) and TheViper (92,5%) all lost one map in the process. The only big favourite who won 2-0 was MbL (88,4%) who made quick work of his opponent.

Just an appreciation post to what feels like the best LAN tournament our scene has ever had. Yes, there have been slight audio mishaps here and there, but the production quality, the attention to detail, and the overall atmosphere was just awesome through and through. The interviews, the prep, the costumes, the player banners... so much stuff done right.

It's good to see this level of commitment to produce a LAN worthy of the game we love - and I think this is the beginning of how serious sponsors are willing to get when it comes to Age of Empires. Hopefully more to come later down the line for AoE2, and, potentially AoE4! So, thank you for everyone involved to make this tournament special!
