The regulars look super cool in Age V, like northern blues civil war style, but they don't look like this as the base model, is there any way to work around this?

Any tips/strategies playing as Netherlands against Portugal?

Recently reinstalled aoe3 (not DE) and got it to work, and my Portuguese friend challenged me for some games. I've played a bit solo but I've never been super good at aoe3 and i'm still rusty. I will be playing as Netherlands vs his portugal, any tips relating are appreciated. Thanks for the help in advance!
