Sweden has better cavalry, better artillery, and even better infantry options, throughout the game in Age 2, Sweden has an economy comparable to Germany as the torps make up for the lack of Settler wagons. Military-wise, Swedish Hussars are simply a better option than Uhlans. If we look at infantry, Sweden has a musketeer which Germany makes up for with very expensive units (WW, Doppels) Only in late game after sending all the important cards can Germany have some advantage against Sweden. But if we compare the units then Sweden has a wider, stronger, and I would even argue, cheaper mix than Germany Why play Germany when you can play Sweden? Germany doesn't even benefit much from improved mercenaries since they can't train them as more than auxiliary units [link] [comments] |
