    Falcons in the Campaign

    I just finished my once a year playthrough of the base game campaign. Each time I've noticed each chapter prominently features a falcon and I have never given this any thought.

    In Act I we have Sahin the Falcon. In Act II Warwick has a pet falcon. Act III Amelia owns the Falcon Company.

    Is there any in universe explanation for why "Falcons" are reoccurring for the Black family or did some writer just really like falcons?

    Do all players have to have downloaded a custom map in order for them to play on it (LAN match)? Or the host only?

    How good do you need to be for ESO, in terms of AI settings?

    I can currently 1v1 hard ai consistently. 2v1 ais will crush me.

    Is ESO more expert level?

    I'm starting to get bored with fighting AIs, but I'm not super keen to play a match and get steamrolled. I only ever played one 2v2 (admittedly while drunk, not sure how much that played a part) and it was obvious I was done for, and letting my teammate down by about 10 minutes in. But the other team was higher levels, so they probably played online a lot more than me.

    How can I prepare myself for my next online match?

    Lost My AoE III Asian Dynasties after Downloading Wars of Liberty

    Hello everyone. I just have a quick question. I just have downloaded Wol from their website (2gb). In the installing part I have chosen Aoe 3 steam folder. This is a great game. No questions. But I could not play normal Aoe Asian dynasies through steam.

    Note: I only had had Aoe III in my steam. Nowhere else.

    Q: How can I get my Aoe III Asian Dynasties back apart from Wol ? I wanna play both.

    Favourite competitive format?

    Hey friends!

    I was wondering what your ideas are for competitive formats in Aoe 3. In my opinion the way it has been played so far is not the greatest but that's just me.

    In other strategy games (SC2) players have a designated civ they excel at and play only. In aoe 3 every pro plays all the civs. What do you think about this?

    Imagine being a somewhat new player and liking a civ and being able to watch videos of a certain pro that only plays that civ. I think that would be cool.

    My proposal for a format would be one that is used in Hearthstone. Each match is a best of 5, players choose 4 civs. Before a match each player can ban one of the 4 civs the opponent chose. Then for the first game both select one of the remaining 3 civs in secret. Each player has to win with all their civs. So if one player leads 2:0 the other one knows what civ they're playing against.

    What do you guys think? :)

    Flamethrower?

    Is the chinese flamethrower even worth using? It doesn't really seem equally effective compared to falconet or flaming arrow. Chinese seem pretty shafted when it comes to artillery... flying crow is nice but so limited in availability.

    Dutch FF

    I've been playing around with a Falc-Halb FF over a Skirm-Ruyt, and I love it. It's got great siege and is tough to counter cause it covers quite a few options, but its hella expensive and can fall flat if you dont have numbers, plus other goons and such is tough to face, as well as Skirm-WW makes it obsolete. Just wanting other opinions on it, whether it be strengths, weaknesses, or viable situations. Cheers!
