| So uhhhhh... I was playing with the French and they called me a cheater Posted: 12 Jul 2020 10:48 PM PDT So I decided to work with the French to play with my grandpa, since he always chooses them and always beats me. And I decided to use a new strategy, a strategy with the factories and the market... It all starts with jumping across ages, building regular stuff with the villagers like usual, then I built the army, with a few natives, and mostly being howitzers, why? Because he always builds tons of walls. By this time I already made the 2 factories and fortresses and got most of the natives. I started the battle by locating his 2 factories and villagers, I found a mistake he made, the was a part that was almost undefended and pretty close to the factories, and took advantage of it. The war came along, and I made a considerable amount of damage to one of his factories, but not destroying it. When I realised he killed most of my infantry and cavalry, I said fuck it and went on full cuirassier, sending 5 by 5 though one of the fortresses, I ran out of coins, but then I got more coins thanks to the market, but how? I barely had any villager, and the cuirassiers are very expensive, how could I get so much money? The answer is simple, FACTORIES. I said that I've built 2 of them, but I haven't said what were they making, one of them was making coins and the other one was making a special resource that you don't spend on the cuirassiers, WOOD. I saved a lot of wood since I didn't made any artillery after the first attack and sold it all, well almost, I used a little bit to create howitzers and destroy what's left of him, I won. He left, called me a cheater and said he won't play with me ever again. And so he did, we haven't played since... [link] [comments] |
