PSA: Read the damn rules before joining Treaty Games

    Posted: 07 Jun 2021 12:24 PM PDT

Please read the game description before joining folks. The amount of Treaty games I've joined this month where people:

    • Don't realize it's treaty and quit
    • Don't have a treaty deck and join NR60 games
    • Don't kick Lvl 1's from "No Noob" games
    • Don't communicate all game long

Is too damn high. Is it too much to ask to play a well-balanced 3v3 Treaty game?

    Amazonia bug?

Me and my friend played a Amazonia game and we spawd in the top part of the map, and that side was completly without wood.

So after the game end, to test i started a Skirmish game and everytime the top side has no wood.

Can someone confirm if this had happen too?

Best Nation starting with 1K of each resource?

    Posted: 07 Jun 2021 12:06 PM PDT

My friends like playing coop matches against AI where we start with "Medium" resources (aka 1K of each resource), plus the normal starting crates on the ground in front of the Town Center.

At first, I didn't like it, it felt like it removed skill/strategy from the equation and I wanted to get better. Now I'm kind of embracing it as it give many alternate opportunities and strategies when starting.

For example, when playing as China you can immediately build 5 villages and call the 1 villager per village card as your first shipment.

Another example is to water boom as portugal even harder, or build 3 banks as the dutch immedaitely.

I just realized a little bit ago just how strong the British were with this, since you could use that 1K wood for 10 houses and have 10 extra settlers really early on while also immediately aging to Age 2.

So far this seems like the most OP nation to use when starting with 1K resources. Does anyone else have any ideas on what could be really insane/fun start with 1K resources?

Just need to get this off my chest. It took me nearly 15 years to realize that placing a garnision

inside a town center indeed increases the ressources income. But not by a %, by making it gathered faster or something like that.

It simply doubles them. Like, 15 Gold get delivered, you get 30 instead. That's pretty neat and explains SO much. Considering food (and citizens only cost food) is the only real never ending ressource, this is even a good investion.

Does anyone know if something similar applies in NR40 or treaty games?
