    Ability to train Jaeger as the Germans

    So the Swedes got this really neat age up (I believe from age II to age III) where they are able to train Jaeger units in the barracks as a standard unit.

    Now I wonder, since the Jaegers are supposed to represent some kind of Hessian mercenary, and thus originating from German lands. Why on earth isn't this an age up for the German civ as well?

    Campaign bug ��

    Anyone started a campaign , passed a mission and unlocked a random mission from another campaign? Or gotten the wrong load screens?

    I quite like aoe 3s campaigns and this has killed being able to replay them in 3DE

    Anyone else finds Ethiopia units confusing?

    I had a hard enough time with the Inca. Now trying to learn Ethiopia is at least 2x worse. There are so many different units to choose from and keeping track of all that is proving hard while some guy playing Dutch rushes me which simple crossbow/pike/huss. Why can't they keep the variety more limited and at least name them more intuitively? They even managed to make two types of militia units produced from houses. Then you have embassy and watchtower units, apart from castle and warcamp units. I'm not entirely sure but I seem to remember even the rock church makes some kind of unit.

    Okay, Hausa needs a nerf. I have tried everything but they just spam raiders and outlaw spearmen and have 20 units by 5 minutes. I just can't beat it what do I do?

    Favorite African maps so far?

    There's a bunch of 'em, 15 in total.

    I'm digging the bright desert maps for the visuals, specifically Tassili and Darfur. Atlas gets too sandstormy sometimes, which is cool in its own way though.

    Nile Valley also gives a nice bit of green and water to the desert element. Same for Lake Chad.

    I was also suprised how cool the Savanna map looks purely based on the big trees.

    Of course, Horn is where it's at for the Island building off-shore. Gold Coast is also pretty cool in that regard (has two small tiny islands).

    What's your guys favorites so far?

    On a side note, I also like the treasures and guardians more on the Horn map (lots of Colonial dudes).

    I won my first (and second) match 1x1 extreme AI with Lakota

    That's it, just saying for some people that might understand the learning curve :)

    First match I won against Swedes in a hard turtle most of the time until it got "demoralized" and I overturned the game.

    Second match was against Aztec and it really disappointed me because it hardly made any threat, it's like it was expecting me to attack with cavs and I boomed into Cetan bows mostly, used cavs only to harass their villagers.

    Now, unlike what I expect from real people (still haven't played online), the AI goes on a reckless rush every time and if I just manage to hold it enough it gets "tired" on Age III and barely makes new moves.

    Alt+R hotkey, what's up with it

    I've tried to use Alt+E as "eject" hotkeys for my TC and and towers. Of course, sometimes I miss it, and tap Alt+R instead, and when I do so the game pseudo-alt-tabs out or changes window focus out of the game. In the meantime nothing in the game is clickable.

    This happens in the main menus as well as in game, and only with Alt+R, not Alt+V, Alt+H, Alt+T, or any other letter keys.

    Basically, Alt+R specifically is unusable as a hotkey in the game. I guess my question is: What the fuck, why? Can't just be me.

    Game freezing and crashing to desktop

    Hello, if you can't tell from the title I need some help. I bought aoe3 DE not too long ago and have had issues with the game crashing to my desktop. Theres never any error message or anything. The game just freezes and exits. My pc will also occasionally fully crash (bsod) with the error codes having something to do with the cpu or ram.

    Sometimes its within 5mins of playing but can also be at 15, 30 or even after an hour of playing. It seems so random. This also occurs with aoe2 DE.

    I'll list some of my specs below which will hopefully help with figuring out what the problem is.

    Windows 10 16gb ram 3440 x 1440p Intel i5-3570K AMD RX480

    I've tried lowering the graphics settings, playing full screen, windowed borderless, turned on and off vsync and anti aliasing. I've installed and updated my drivers so that can't be the issue. Idk man I'm at a loss of what to do.

    Please help! I'd love to actually enjoy the game for once.
